True, but from my best knowledge, the video was taken in a pet shop so that is something common with so many gerbils in a tank. Since my very last hermit crab died and due to lack of popularity over here, i switched my interested to gerbil and currently recycling my current crab tank and refurbish into gerbil habitat and its going to take a couple of months to complete the refurbishing

Another son of mine just past away .... sad ... now there's 2 left. I dont think they will live thru this year as I got all of them almost the same time. All 3 boys died a sudden death. Morning still fine. Night found them lying dead. Now I dont know if I want to get another 1 or 2 boys so to accompany my existing boys. But 1 day they will go again n I will will be continous sad if I continue. So should I or should I not continue? Anyone selling gerbil in case I want? I need boys only.

One of the male gerbil appear2 be bleeding at his stomach
Im suspecting it Neoplasia
Izit confirm its Neoplasia or there are other cause for this?

any pictures? if it's male and its around 2 years age, high chance it is neoplasia. and maybe is just normal cuts which he accidentally gets. but if they got neoplasia, they will chew off themself because it's pain and annoying to them. result in bleeding. best to check with vet ASAP.

then i guess most probably should be neoplasia. maybe scent gland tumour, cause they will try to chew off the tumour and end up in bleeding. let the owner know and check with the vet.

If you had been feeding prestige for the passed 2 yrs till now. i guess you should notice the quality has drop so much. which that really upset me, yet there is no other good brand in the market. so no choice still stick with prestige.

last march, my friend from singapore bring me some vitakraft, which is not not the normal range, that we can get here!. its very good quality and fresh...

and guess what!!?? THEY ARE HERE NOW!!! hahahhaha

i will surely change to the new range!!! HOHOHOH.....

Brought my gerbil to Hand & Paw clinic on Sat, Dr Jenny says my gerbil seems to have tumor on belly and cheek, thats why his cheek was swollen. Aiks... poor fella..hope the medication can bring the tumors under control, if they get bigger then it will be a problem for the gerbil. Tonight will give him some vitakraft treat to make up for the vet visit and medication, hope they will enjoy it.

hope the med will work on him.... update us ok..

how many times a day he hv to take the med?

1 time a day, 2 types of meds. But need to monitor how is he, doc said if he get worse after eating the med then mus stop it immediately.
