Got different smell

All smell nice tooo

For me the smell is kindda…..how do I put this…ermmmm …
it kindda have this farm smells u know…not so strong, but juz nice…
like old Mc Donald farm hahaha…

lol you smelled old mcdonald's farm? you guys gerbil will chew the hay into pieces? mine is like hardcore chewer lol. i put 1 big bunch of hay there, after 2 hours chew all into small bits and mixed with bedding.

Chewing their entire life.. I think its ok when its started to mix up with the bedding. Correct me if I’m wrong, but what else could we do ehh? Since got ma gerbil, 5 drinking bottle have been damaged by them…owhhh..

lol! mine still nice nice ehh. thanks to kelvin punya DIY hanging bottle thingy. everytime i put new stuff in their tank ar. wanna let them play. but chew until left bits.

everytime see the tank no toys quite empty. put in. gone. put hard wood in. aso gone.

wanna get some clay and DIY already. ghegheghe

I did do the cage for the bottle, but somehow they still get thru…Sometimes I feal like wana squish those round fureball….but, the cuteness always kill me back hahaha...

I like ur courage CK….Yeah, u should try built the DIY clay hideout…ur gerbil sure going to be thankful 4 it..

aiii, just cleaned up my girls' tank..found out there's white tiny insects on the hay.. will freeze the hay tomoro..for the time being no hay for them
and i found out that they dont like the crickets i bought fer them..
pandang pon tak mau....now dont know wht to do with em crickets..

I did see that the HAY got smells like a fresh cut grass smell.. To me i PENING when smell that, for them, is WAH LAA!! They like it.

Gone into CHEW mode asap i put the hay.

Some bring to nest, some take out from nest, some chew, some eat it, some sleep on it, some pee on it. Thats what happen when u have 6 different mongolian living together.

So sorry CK…Last night I snap 1, but forgot to bring to work,. I try to it tomorrow…

I have the same issue as yours…I think cricket r 2 smelly for them…Still, ma duprasi and gecko always ready to finish it up 4 them hahaha

Well, I’m just using chippsi classic as bedding and give them Alfafa..
Not quite sure bout the brand though..

Sad news today. My gerbil of three years (or isit 4? i cant exactly remember) Sam died. No sign of injuries or diseases. Maybe old age? He has been a good company to me. May he rest in peace.

Anyway, my other gerbil, Dean shows something that I never noticed before. Some sort of ketumbuhan appears on his chest.


Isit serious? Dean is nearly 4 years old as well. He's Sam's brother.

@meento: nice pics meento..so cute! as i only haf my gerbils, now im putting the crickets in my fridge, later will think of what to do with them..before my mom freaks out seeing a can of crickets in her fridge
