i aso want their pics, but dont have camera wor..

i usually take them out and put them in their bathing tank, and they will roll. but if put more than one,
terus tak nak mandi..

mine okay la, but they dont really favor britter bunny, i tried giving them red dates, but they dont like it also..
hahaha..yesterday just tidied up my gerbilarium, put lots n lots of bedding, put in 3 kitchen towel roll (those long ones),
they finished chewing it less than 3 hours..lucky i have tons of kitchen towel rolls to give them..hahaha

agaa. i aso scoop sand and pour on top of them. they never roll.

where you get kitchen rolls? i need some for them too!

mine i put 1 wood house thingy inside. after 2 days. left 1 piece of wall. all chew into pieces. its hard wood!

hahahah..chew chew chew, and dig all day all night..
cottonkandy, i got it from my work place, now all my frens know that i bring back kitchen towel rolls for my gerbils,
they all sure keep for me one, one day sure can bring 2 or 3 home, sometimes even 5..
i also put a wooden house inside the tank, and half of the door has been chewed off..hahaha

Mine like 2 chew, and also have one wooden house..but not to the extend of chewing down the house hahaha...

meento, not yet chewed down the entire house, half of the entrence only..hahaha, but they go crazy over the kitchen towel rolls, sure habis onee..

adorable lah i like to see them especially when i wake them up, and they do their sleepy face..

I got 6 males, saved enuf tissue rolls like 3 for each, then dumped all in together to create tunnel like tank.

Half an hour = GONE = RATA = FLAT d. hu hu hu hu hu

Tot can see the tunnel thing for a day or so.

So i got an alternative, the roll from plastic wrap. Those kind r real hard. I got a long one, and gona use a saw to saw it into 2.

Now the excitement begins. They cant reli chew it till gone. Takes them some time now!

@meento, yeah mine super hardcore chewer. but they don't chew the bottle. maybe the guarding thing kelvin gave me work. lol.
but my godd. whole wooden house chew down left 1 piece of wall. 2 ekor only. aikes. bangwall.

haha, the kitchen towel rolls will be gone in just a blink, but if i give them the roller from the fax paper, that one is really hard, 1 week has passed and the roll is still left 3/4..haha.
but i do enjoy listening to them chew..

@kelvin: i aso tot to create tunnels for them, but they pull all of the rolls to the surface and start to chew chew chew non stop..

i not sure how's the story now already, but i heard sum1 saying about me doing some bad things to the gerbils or wat la... i really not happy bout tat and dunno why got such ppl wan to kacau me like tat...

And to those really curious of what's going on,

I got a hint that Shayne wana BREED the gerbil girls i passed to her. The source mentioned she might use them to breed gerbils for sale. If this is TRUE, then i will see babies gerbil at Fluff d. But i din see also.

So, maybe this is not TRUE, just a foul play, maybe it is to BREAK the friendship of Shayne n ME.

So SAD.

Shayne, as they've been already become ur babies, u r held for responsibilities yea! U have PROMISEd me to take care of them d. Till the end of their last breath. Huhuhuhuhuhu.

Anyway, Shayne, i shud have asked u directly bout this matter, but i din do anything more than that d after i heard the rumours. It's my fault too.

thks kelvin for the reply. 1st of all, i would like to highlight tat i'm not the 1 who requested to adopt the gerbils. i say yes becoz i treat u as a real frend when u ask me to take over ur gerbils coz u can't take care too many of them. and i believe u did had a hard time when u decided to pass them to other ppl too. for those who think i earned the gerbils, please bear in mind, i gotta spend for them 1 le, all those accesorries, food+supplement, bedding, tanks, water bottles, etc... i dun think i'm earning anything from adopting the gerbils, and i never want to earn anything from them as well, i treat all my pets as my own child, even my bf everytime feel jealous as i treat my pets all better than him sometimes...

i did think of wan to breed them at a time, but this is just a "thinking", i dun hav an actual plan yet. the purpose of breeding them is not for profit at all. as all of them r consider rare color+red eyed and they r growing quite healthy now, i planned to breed 1 or 2 of them so tat i can keep the rare line as well as to expand my gerbil kingdom.

i still remember when u passed them to me, i promised u to take good care of them. yes, i can tell u that, i'm doing it will all my very best. with my breeding knowledge and experience + my heart for pet, i dun think there is any problem for me to breed them for my own pet collection. but of coz, since all these gerbils r originally from ur hand, i must seek for ur advice b4 i really do it. since this already become an issue, i might as well tell u now before hand, even though i haven't start any breeding plan yet.

eventhough if i breed them and put them for sale at FLUFF, i dun think any1 here can make any profit from it. all gerbils owner knows the price of a gerbil - about RM30-50 depends of color. from wat i've spent for them (tanks, bedding, food, supplement, numerous of chewed water bottle, etc...), there won't be any profit at all unless i really go into mass-production. so, it really doesn't make sense for me to do such a silly thing.

so, after all of this, if u think breeding caused such an big issue to u, then i rather passed them all back to u to stop the rumors, since i really didn't do anything harmful thing to them.

Well, to me if its breeding serve as an expending gerbil collection to make sure the line is still there, then i dont mind.

Just not breed for fun. To see gerbils pups, that is. Coz ppl are so tempted to see gerbils babies and all.

As long as they're in good health n good treatment from u, plus u research more on introducing them to male, one male one female tank n stuffs, i see no harm for me to let u go on ahead to breed.

Considering u got so many pets now, why u want breed sumore leh? HAHA Nothing to do d? Or coz it makes not much different if u have more also d? KEKEKEKE Like me, adding one or more pets makes no difference d, coz i got so many d.

But i choose not to, coz i got this quote from a friend "Remember that at the end of the day, all u got is still a pair of hand; regardless of how many pets u have or wants".

Mine r just 1 1 1 to the colours u got. Plus an agouti, nutmeg and a dark eyed honey.

And we here in LYN as u say, wont go into BREEDING without any deep consideration, i guess u already knew bout it.

So my point is, if u choose to BREED oneday, please make sure the grandchildrens of mine are in good hands. That's all i can say for now.
