i think it will more cheaper, even they launch wif high price but in the end price will drop drastically like K550. |

yesterday i go mines and asking the price...they said it's RM1200.
i think it was for the original one......anybody know the AP set price?? - people keep saying good thing about this fon....is there have any leak?? - example... the button... my fren said u finggers will hurt for typing message....hmmm i dunno hehe  anyway... i really like this fon design...specially the lime one.and i really wan to buy it soon...but plz...anybody maybe cangiv an advices...  |

hmmmm....i tot when the spec for UMTS is 0 video call hour,mean we can do the 3G call....same spec for the Z610....
but when i go to the phone seller,they said it still can do the 3G call....... so i confuse hehe....is it really cannot do the 3G call???? Have and using one right now. A bit slow at keypad for SMS, unlike any other Nokia Model.
When connecting to a PC, the phone have USB Ethernet Emulation, that connect to your PC at 10mbps. Set the [Phone as Modem] in USB Mode settings. Or you could surf through e.g. [Celcom 3G] at WinXP's Network Connections. Or via the SE PC Suite. Setting wizard like those in N95, make your GPRS, MMS, 3G settings a breeze. Nice thing is the RSS is at the main screen, and could scroll view the RSS through Ticker. The screen goes totally black while at standby, unlike N95. Maybe that's make the phone could standby up to 14 days (stated in the manual). The phone could access Youtube through NetFront browser with no problem; with N95, you have to upgrade to latest firmware, or use Mobitubia. Fast for the music startup, unlike N95. SE PC Suite handle contacts faster than Nokia PC Suites (with N95). actually any phone which connect to pc using mini usb can be charged through the usb actually.. i tried it my L6 hp n fully charged my HP... bdw last wednesday i went to mines serching for HP I'm gonna buy k810i later on... the sales girl recommended to me this model.. very nice with the lime n white color.. i also attracted to it.. the price she offer me quite good actually...but it dun have flash like 810i and the camera only 2.0 mp....

The Location Services of k660i have Google Maps on which using the cellsites triangulation. It will give message like [My current location to within 1700 meters].
It support GPS accessory. With Nokia N95 and Huawei E220, you could force the devices to stick with 3G, or GSM mode. Unfortunately with k660i, it only have to modes: [GSM only] and [GSM and 3G] BT with Powersave off:

Google Maps need data connection to download maps.
With Nokia Maps, you could pre-upload region maps, using USB or BT. Google Mobile Maps PinPoints Your Location Without GPS I think it is considered cheap, compared with the all the features. i am using this phone. as far as i am concern it works great for me and value for money. only the downside is the battery draining, but then again what can you expect if you use 3g function and mp3 player all day long

yes contract 2 years rm 150..
but no harm since the bill always exceed that amount it cost rm 499 with the plan.. not a good choice anyway -.- |

yep annoying, cuz sometimes when i wanted to lock my fon, i accidently pressed the cancel call button, then only the right soft key, it goes into maxis application -.-, took a lil time for me to quit the program n lock again.. haha |

just curious because my brother old SE phone firmware (K series) has been upgraded with Walkman firmware.. It just after the upgrade, the sound is louder than original state and the speaker start buzzing when a sound is played.
sorry bro, still noob with SE phones because my current and 3 past phones is Nokia. |

i just bought k660i. before this im using hotlink and no problem whatsoever.
however, when i changed service provider to celcom, i started to get this following error: CIPHERING NOT PROVIDED BY OPERATOR INSECURE TRANSMISSION. this will happen whenever i get incoming calls. what seems the problem? and, 1 more thing..the phone just turn off by itself. can someone give suggestions for me to rectify this problem pls.. thank you. |

Hi. Im new k660i usr fr 1 mnth ago. I bought it at klg, rm680 wth usb cble, m2 2gb, m2 adptr, hndsfr, chrgr & lime on whte clor. Im alwys use it to on9 or cnnct on pc. Im clcm xpx 3g usr & on9 via clcm brdbnd daily pckg.

the prob is when open built-in web browser, if use Opera web brwsr, it still can open web pages. Other fnctn (call/sms/im etc) it still ok, no restrting. smtime it look ok. i dun know wat prob.... arghhh

today i had reset all my k660i coz i want my SE more fresh & better performance. i dont lost any data, i had backup using SE PC Suite. after master reset, my phone memory had 33MB... default memory is 32MB but how my SE got 32 plus 1MB??? erm... |

i just bought this hp n i really like it!

what can u do with it?? 1. send picture n video to ur blog 2. it has photofix, u can take panorama pic type(wide picture) 3. track id,megabass,radio rds 4. video call( u can switch camera, share pic or video) 5. google maps,view full html,zoom function in the browser, use opera mini is better i think, video streaming, 3.5G o HSDPA(modem) 5. email n instant messaging...celcom provide IM(X), podcast RSS feeds 6. picture ID, ring ID 7. i installed many apps & games in my fon look like high end phone, simple but powerful usage i can edit simple dokument also making basic web using HTML code & preview in NetFront Browser i want to know about video streaming & GPS receiver can anyone tell me more? |

I'd like to ask the k660i users something! ><>< I've had my eyes on this phone for a while, but I'm not sure whether I should get it bcos: a) The keys look okay, but is it true that the shortcuts for the D-pad are already fixed? (there's those two symbols on the left and right) b) I send a looooot of sms >< and I hate deleting them when my inbox is full. I know these new SE phones can save them on the memory card, but will the phone start to lag with 1000+ sms in the inbox? Hope somebody can help me with these two questions! |

I've been looking for a new phone for a while, and I've tried out the phone at a SE store. I really like the display - sharp and bright colours

hey, for all those who have the latest firmwares installed. are you guys using AP sets or local Ori sets?
i just killed my AP set trying to update cause it's giving me problems with it turning off by itself. have a feeling we AP users cant get the newest firmware. =/ |

My K660i always hang and restart. I still tolerant it coz still can use it to connect internet.
But recently it's getting worse, in the 'Internet settings', 'Connect using' which store my umobile setting already gone, and I cant even save the setting again, the 'Connect using' column always show blank! Software version: 1202-5656 R1FA030 080504 SonyErisson I tried to update the firmware using Update Service, but Update Service detected my phone has latest version software, NO update can carried out! Is R1FA030 really letest version? How to FORCE update into my phone? |

Can't la. It had been set by manufacturer. Left & right can't be change. Only up & down key you can set on your own choice.
Also can use Shortcut function. |
