Have and using one right now. A bit slow at keypad for SMS, unlike any other Nokia Model.

When connecting to a PC, the phone have USB Ethernet Emulation, that connect to your PC at 10mbps. Set the [Phone as Modem] in USB Mode settings. Or you could surf through e.g. [Celcom 3G] at WinXP's Network Connections. Or via the SE PC Suite.

Setting wizard like those in N95, make your GPRS, MMS, 3G settings a breeze.

Nice thing is the RSS is at the main screen, and could scroll view the RSS through Ticker.

The screen goes totally black while at standby, unlike N95. Maybe that's make the phone could standby up to 14 days (stated in the manual).

The phone could access Youtube through NetFront browser with no problem; with N95, you have to upgrade to latest firmware, or use Mobitubia.

Fast for the music startup, unlike N95.

SE PC Suite handle contacts faster than Nokia PC Suites (with N95). The contacts stored in MDB file (just like Huawei E220), not VCF like N95.

Compared to Huawei E220 and Nokia N95, so far it is much better.
- when u use N95, the USB cable do not function as cable charger. You then have two cable danging to the N95.
- when u use Huawei E220, the USB cable kinda short, unlike the cable supplied with k660i
- with k660i (and N95) , you have option to use BT

In terms of reception with telco's signal, this depends where u live. In the same location I live, Huawei is the best, second k660i, and last N95 .

Maxis broadband, much better than Celcom, based on the places that I have been.

actually any phone which connect to pc using mini usb can be charged through the usb actually.. i tried it my L6 hp n fully charged my HP... bdw last wednesday i went to mines serching for HP I'm gonna buy k810i later on... the sales girl recommended to me this model.. very nice with the lime n white color.. i also attracted to it.. the price she offer me quite good actually...but it dun have flash like 810i and the camera only 2.0 mp....

btw, im just realized tat K660 abit overpriced ler for 2mp phone cam.

The Location Services of k660i have Google Maps on which using the cellsites triangulation. It will give message like [My current location to within 1700 meters].

It support GPS accessory.

With Nokia N95 and Huawei E220, you could force the devices to stick with 3G, or GSM mode. Unfortunately with k660i, it only have to modes: [GSM only] and [GSM and 3G]

Setting -> Connectivity -> Mobile Networks -> Preferred Network - Options - GSM/3G networks ->
GSM and 3G
GSM Only
3G Only

But it still pick up GSM when no 3G is found

I bought k660i, because I like to use it as HSDPA modem for my Asus EEE 701. So far , it works nicely through BT.

For SMS, you could type faster with Nokia 1200, than SE k660i or Nokia N95.

Never use P2P with Celcom Broadband. But I suggest you use BT rather than USB, SE k660i will suck up power from connected PC.

(having notebook eliminates the needs of extra power pack)

You could connect, surf internet from your phone via PC internet connection. Select the SE USB Ethernet icon and your computer NIC icon in Windows XP Network Connections, bridge it. Set the [USB network type] setting in your k660i  , [via Computer].    You could install application e.g. Maybank M2U, etc. using this method.

Location services (Google Maps) works better with Celcom, compared with Maxis. Maxis sometime put me in the middle of ocean, or in the middle of streets. With Celcom, the given location do not changed if I am at a location, and tried the service from time to time, but with Maxis, the location changing, if I do it today, tomorrow, yesterday, for a same location.

Netaccess browser have problem to open maybank2u.com , but with my N95, it open OK. From http://developer.sonyericsson.com/site/glo...k660/p_k660.jsp , it support Flash Lite 2.0, and more.

I kinda have problem to download J2ME apps, e.g. Maybank M2U, or any other downloads, [when used with Celcom Broadband].

Maxis unlimited data plan (RM99) works much better, compared to Celcom Broadband (RM98); [when used with this phone, directly].

k660i have problem opening large web page, e.g. http://www.intomobile.com . Most probably because of limited RAM. Might get Nokia N95 8GB (128MB ram) to see the differences.

I've managed to get it hang somehow when connecting and disconnecting it with PC via USB.

if the power not enough...can buy the cst 75 charger...can charge while connecting usb 

just bought it few days ago..try the googlemaps service while driving - my location change accordingly while travel - like mini GPS

yep annoying, cuz sometimes when i wanted to lock my fon, i accidently pressed the cancel call button, then only the right soft key, it goes into maxis application -.-, took a lil time for me to quit the program n lock again.. haha

just curious because my brother old SE phone firmware (K series) has been upgraded with Walkman firmware.. It just after the upgrade, the sound is louder than original state and the speaker start buzzing when a sound is played.

sorry bro, still noob with SE phones because my current and 3 past phones is Nokia.
