What you meant by expiring soon CC?

Meaning the CC will no longer be applicable to use because the Expiry date is coming soon; and the banks will need to reissue a brand new card with a new expiry date for u.

The banks don't care what the expiry date is on the card (at least IMHO) so as long as U have had that CC for >1 year it's good enough.

Well, I can only suggest you insist on it ......  its not easy as I really went thru hell with them and it took 3 months for them to finally get it done 

Sorry dear, I had just switched over to the smarter choice    but based on your situation, its a good opportunity to max out Maxis's customer service & pressure them to fix their payment system asap. Once I even managed to drag my bill for upto 3 months, curtesy of Maxis

Yes there's a charge of RM5 if U request for Amex Gold CC to send you the monthly statement.  Pls make sure U didn't get charged.

It is possible they change the points structure; hence I decided not to wait anymore - will see what I can redeem this afternoon when I'm at the TreatsFair.

TP points had an inflation too last year when they came up with a new book.  Looks like it's time to make the redemptions before higher inflation kicks in.  I'm off to TreatsFair in the afternoon - i'll report back on what's happening for us Amex users tonight

I didn't know about actual card collection - thought it was just temporary cards being issued out.  Alas what happens if I don't go make the collection?  Will they just send to my house?!

Received from Telekom today saying that I could not apply for Autopay with a CC from Maybank Islamic. She said the system doesn't allow that.

What a disappointment!

Just got my amex gold cc today from poslaju centre in Tmn Shamelin.

Applied in midvalley maybank LG floor early July. It was sent to my house on 30 July, but i was not in.

Very impressed with the design of the card

I thought u mentioned before u had paid RM800 annual fee for amex plat?

tgeoklin did mentioned in CC thread about DA Plat and VI/World. Anyway I did called DA 2 days ago about cancelling my Plat and they confimed that my DA Plat MC is still valid and the credit limit is combined. My DA Plat CL along with my PB used to be the lowest among my Plat CC and now increase more than 3X into Tier 2 category since having the World/VI.
