NEWSUPDATE: KL Sinkhole Rescue Operation Gets Tougher as Strong Water Current Appears Underground
The turbulent water flow that appears in the 8-meter-deep hole has increased the difficulty of the authorities’ search and rescue. Kuala Lumpur Police Chief, Datuk Rusdi Mohd Isa confirmed that the authorities hope to find the trapped woman before dark, and promised that the mission will not be terminated until the person is found, reported 8TV News. Horrible reporting on this incident by our media. Maybe they are not given access to the sink hole to get first hand view or provided with details if there are other utilities running under the road level. I have a feeling this is above a utility conduit running underneath.
