i think so far of all the korean dramas i have watched, the ones that i love most and have been rewatching over & over again on tv and dvd are winter sonata and jewel in the palace

I have few dramas but I have watched only like one or two

Does anybody got a recommendation on latest kdrama? Currently watching Get Karl! Oh Soo Jung ep1. So far, I don't really like it. The only reason I'm watching it because of Oh Ji Ho acting in it. Not really funny though. Maybe anyone here got better kdrama to recommend?

just finish watching Witch Yoo Hee. Yea yea, its already old.. My bro got it from his friend. Really nice. I like it a lot. The fist half of the episodes are pretty cool and funny but the 2nd half of the episodes starts getting a little weird storyline. But that doesn't stop me. Isn't she adorable. Her dad is very cruel. Very much. Hate her dad so much. any KDrama recommended? Something like Witch Yoo Hee is fine. Love story with humor elements. Like that kind of drama alot. I think I'll watch it again.. can't resist. lol The OST is matching with the storyline. gawd. So nice!  oh ya, has anyone watched Alone in Love? I think it was aired on RTM2 few years ago. Used to watch it every nights. Too bad, I missed the first half of episodes and the ending part I think. Only know the middle storyline..  Pretty good one too. Ex-husband helps his ex-wife to get a new boyfriend while at the same time still not acknowledge their own feelings towards each other tho seperated.  but it was dubbed tho. How I wish we could have it in their own language but with english subtitles.. that'd be much better. |

I notice not a lot of ppl watch period dramas here.
I thought Jumong was among the best drama i watched so far, the only thing is that it was 81 episodes. Anyway if you wanna learn more abt K-drama, go soompi.com, very lively community there and tons of materials regarding k-dramas. Anybody wanna trade dramas? I have quite an extensive collection high quality dramas from 2006 and 2007. 2008 was a bad year for me. That's why i wanna catch up now. |

Yout should try watching:
Surgeon Bong Dal Hee (was aired on 8tv a while ago) - Very nice, you get the excitement from the life of trainee surgeons. Way better than Grey's. Grey's has too much scandal lah and none on doctor-patient relation. Thank You - Jang Hyuk starred in it. Very touching. Moved me to tears. Also medically related, though slightly less than bong dal hee. Both dramas will have viewers hating the male lead at the begining but will fall in love with them as the show progresses. |

...You're Beautiful, 2009 best trendy kdrama, lots of funny moment, nice love story and cute story too, and the stars are super cute <3 Jang Geuk Suk and Park Shin Hye should date in real live ...IRIS, damn nice story, very action and suspenceful, it differ from other kdrama more wmerican feel to the plot and style if you like spy and conspiracy stroy, you gonna love this drama |

but for me, Han Ga In is too cute to be watch. Pity her married too early Juz finish IRIS, and currently following Chuno (Slave Hunters). The starting ep 1 of Ahena abit boring, thus I decided to stop watching..But I think getting better in the middle liao..Lack of romantic scene that dominate almost of Kdramas.
I also stopped watching IRIS bcos of the sam edull dramas wth lack of romantic comedies |

watching korean drama will really really 'kill' you......you eye will stick to the screen and won't want to stop.....
recently watched and on going: 1. GIANT (finished)---- super long and dragging.....60 episodes 60 hours .....88GB...download until %#&^..............got 1 day continuous watch 8 epsidoes (8 hours) until eyes also can't open on next day 2. IRIS (finished) --- 20 episodes.....ok ok ....don't compare with 24 (Jack Bauer...where the fxxx are you) 3. Daemul (finished) --- lady president ??? wtf.......remember the stupid scene where the sick bitc* sreaming on the rainy days about the country let his hubby die and bla bla bla..... 4. Queens of reversal ---- another super huge download......watch few episodes....super boring..... 5. Secret Garden --- another stupid story....skip 6. Lucky Choice -- 109 episodes....watch half-way.....a deceived husband and bla bla (again ???) 7. My Princess --- super boring ....boring ....boring ....skip 8. Just finish watched witch yoo hee, after i saw so many comments in this thread.
bah, the last episode is so poor that it spoiled what could be a nice drama. main things that dont make sense:-  1. ruthless father until extend to make her child homeless? (too unrealistic) and what makes him changed heart at last, did someone put drug in his medicine? 2. why would the girl run away from wedding, become homeless, jobless but went back to her ex, just because he involved in accident? it seems to me like the drama is originally scheduled for 20 episodes but cut back to 16 episodes, or the filming is made even before the script/story is complete. thats why so many things crammed into the last episode. but the girl is very adorable alright, she looked adorable even when she is crying.This post has been edited by bone_me: May 12 2011, 02:58 PM |

Anyway there are few more which are showing..and I'm also hooked into..Recommended: - Lie to me.. Attracted to Yoon Eun Hye...suprising gooding..my current best - Can you hear my heart - Starting abit boring but getting better after ep 3 - Baby Faced Beauty - Cute jang Nara - funny from the start - Romance Town - also abit boring on 1st episode but 2nd ep actualy not bad.. ..well hopefully other upcoming ep will be good |

MIDAS..lousy lor for me..stop after 1st episode.
Just completed 49days finale..One of the best ending..darn so many suprises even till the end of the drama BTW, Romance Town I recommended last earlier can ignore liao..ridicolous wan.. Now I stucked on even nicer comedy..The Greatest Love or Best love...darn kenot stop laughing haha...after 49days, Lucky got the Baby Faced Beauty & Greatest love haha |

Not only same but similar. It was an adaptation of Japanese manga - Han Yori Dango. 49days and Secret Garden are two of the best this year for sure. however, My Princess..although started nicely and fun but my 4th episode till the end..lotsa repeating scene and for a while getting boring. Not the best

Maybe you should try secret garden i think for unfamiliar Kdrama scene shud start with gud quality and funny drama like secret garden..highly recommended.. |

Secret Garden mains actor & Actress for sure very popular i.e by hyun Bin & Ha ji Won
49days although not having the best actor & actress..well many 3rd level actors & actresses but the storyline really good. These 2 highly recommended. City Hunter currently running on episode 6 last week in Korean SBS channel also by the 1st level popular actors..Lee Min Ho & also 1st level actress Park Min Young Still captivating me. Started watching kdrama when I'm in high school, catching 'em on tv like Lovers in Paris, Attic Cat and My Love Patzzi. And then going hardcore with the introduction of internet in the college era. My favorite back then would be Fullhouse, Wonderful Life, My Girl, Super Rookie, My Sassy Girl, Chun-Hyung and a whole lots more. Nowadays really hard to find time to watch 'em and kinda lost track of interesting drama to watch. Recently downloaded Playful Kiss and My Girlfriend is a Gumiho but yet still can't find time to do marathon on 'em.
What are other recommended best romantic/action/comedy kdrama that have completed recently? it would be plus if it include my favorite actor/actress like Jang Hyuk, Bi/Rain, Lee Dae Hee, Eugene, Nam Sang Mi, Jae Hee, Han Ga In, etc (so many )..tearjerkers/serious/super-long-episode is a big no for me. Lie to me and Greratest love completed.
LTM Very predictive and the ending not really nice. Greatest love is entertaining from beginning but ending abit predictable too. Well atleast overall still better than LTM. City hunter still running and indeed very entertaining The extended baby faced beauty also abit repetetive liao ..darn I just hate when the dramas got extended.. |

im currently on half way line (ep10 of ep20) ambitious project, but too American-ized. some of the action scenes are laughable and cliche... though the story are decent and interesting (esp North-South politic conflict, because the conflict are alien topic for me) overall still watchable, will stay tune and complete it, including the movie. are the movie any good? |

Same thing happened to me for IRIS.
I totter between new and old dramas. Watched Secret Garden, and apart from the ridiculous plot, the scenes and dialogue + acting were really good between Ha Ji Won and Hyun Bin <3. Just finished My Name is Kim Sam Soon and loved it. Continued with Coffee Prince and finished it just for the sake of finishing it because I found the middle very draggy. Am tempted to try City Hunter now since so many people like it. |

Yes not bad from the start but the ending is pretty predictable. Similarly Baby faced beauty too the ending also abit weak. City hunter last week also getting boring liao although I rated highly this from start till ep 14. ep 15 & 16 getting abit repeptitive liao

yesterday started watching The greatest Love...superb acting from Dok Gok Jin..just falling in love with the character..when he realized he likes ae jeong and will do anything just to make her heart flutter..OMG super cute and also after shaving like super kacak...
like my heart plak yg flutter see him like that..all the starting scenarios fighting . arguing like full house but with better actors ..love seoung won and gong hyo jin in here...Kye Sang also look awesome..yeah i always find him handsome no matter what character he in.. i'm still at episode 6..i really hope the storyline getting better each episode.. Hong sisters never let me down with their skill.. another writer that i rooting after Kim Eun Sook.. |

21 years old and already a lead actress in 'New Gisaeng Story (Drama, 2011)' I thought it's a historical drama; historical drama had a lot of beautiful dresses Yoo Ha-na (유하나) in 'Paradise Ranch (Drama - 2010)' Annoyingly adorable in 'My too perfect sons' back in 2009. First time I saw her; love at 1st sight. Tempting. Each time I saw a pretty actress in a drama, I'll watch it no matter what Her fair skin made her look like a Japanese in 'Tokyo Taxi (2009). There's no place like home; Korea. Look at Jaebeom (former leader of 2pm). Came 'crawling' back to Korea after a few years. Han Ye Seul is hott. Nice legs. Can't help thinking she looks like Daphne Iking 'Someone special' (2004 movie) Lee Na Young won BEST ACTRESS for it. Soothing scene; only those STARTED to fell in love would understand. It hit me, a younger version of the legendary Brigitte Lin Ching Hsia. Shape of her face and teeth. It'll get better once she 'fell' for him I read his resume. Theatre actor; no wonder he's good. Multi award winner. A movie star....'That Fool' was his drama debut. Sometimes I think Kim Ah Joong's laughter are 'fabricated' By the way.... 'Princess' Man' gotten better. Episode 4 and already a lot of conflicts. Surely better than 'Sungkyunkwan Scandal' Great cast; Hong Soo Hyun & Moon Chae Won. Oh no!!! Hong Soo Hyun was wounded and don't know what will happened to the drama. Could be another sad ending. I'm downloading 'You have fallen to me' OST right now. I love this type of drama. I guess 'You have fallen to me' still a new drama. No wonder cannot find a complete OST yet. Mostly available like part 1, part 2, part 3 etc. Park Shin Hye I have a hunch, 'City Hunter' a hit at the moment. After 'Secret Garden'. Minho & Min Young might won some awards in December. Among my K-fever drugs. Jung Eun Ah ajumma Always enjoy her on 'Vitamin'. Each time her hair move after taking a bow, took my breathe away. Damn I'm crying on ep 10 of "scent of a woman" Both actor & actress really have the chemistry. Kim Sun-Ah really delivered. I'm so touch.....Yeah..currently my best kdrama after Secret Garden, 49days, & City Hunter this year

I listened to the 'You've Fallen for Me' Special OST. 'Because I miss you' (Taengoo ) sound so refreshing.Lovely ballad. Finally can listen to Jung Yong Hwa's raw voice; CN Blue's loud music 'submerged' his vocals. 'Because I miss you/그리워서 (Track 5) This song might 'stucked' in my head for weeks. Tears might flow if you're in love. OST Part 3 - Track 2 sounds nice too. 02. 넌 내게 반했어 (inst.) 'Ojak Brothers'(Drama, 2011) - KBS World. Uee's on weekend drama. He can sing Jaso Mraz song well...The funny thing is I dun like the loud music of CNblue but in that drama, as u said, the voice really good. He should sing sentimental song. The drummer (Another CNblue member) of the drama having another superb song...

But the song by Jang Jung Woo stucked in my head. Eyes teared up each time saw MV with the song on Youtube with Park Shin Hye in it. Plot are getting more interesting; Stimix don't spoil it Maybe if cannot take the seduction, might just watch online Episode 8 when the Prince visits her sister. He was inform her sister (actress Soo Hyun) was sick. Maybe after she was involved in the car accident? Only a few dialogues from her. Love the costumes. Red or purple...still beautiful. The only time, korean drama really fully utilised their Chinese borrowed root are those ancient dramas ..All wordings not in korean but Chinese and all borrowed Chinese words extensively used..haha.. for eg...The princess.. kong Chu mama..exactly the same pronounciation as Mandarin & so do others high officers, price 7 King all using Chinese pronouciation

Haha.. You should know dy since my avatar actually the famous Gyeonbokgong palace in Seoul, korea...The current Princess Man was shoot using the replica of this Palace.

About the internal war between the King/ heir of the King wth his brother. His brother having a daughter and the daughter fell in love with the king's secretary/guard's son. The guard's son din know the girl is the daughter of his father's enemy. After the king dead, and the guard is asked to take care of the king's son (New teen king), the King's brother wanna rampas kuasa & killed all ppl related to the departed King including the guard's family. The guard son escaped and discovered much later that the girl he love was the King's brother enemy....damn spoiler mode On liao...That the shortest summary from episode 1 till 10!

i know protect the boss got a very good review because the funny scene and good chemistry between the actors and also Ji sung got highly praise here because he always act on melo / serious drama now he taking comic role and it come out undeniably funny..
but, I'm still trying to figure out why Princess man suddenly snatch the No. 1 spot on Wed/Thur drama..is the story line really good and make us wanting to watch next episode.. Maybe i need to start to watch princess man to get the answer. |

Maybe some did not know, Kim Jung Eun sang in 'The Man of the Vineyard /The Vineyard Man' OST.
Stucked in head for months. Lovely song. Hillarious and sweet love story. Totally recommended. 'I want to get closer/Da-ga Ga-go Sip-eo' Anyone should watch it, Yoon Eun Hye won best actress for it. She beat the MIGHTY Ha Ji Won (Hwang Jin-I) for the award. Hero & heroin duet. Always made me smile and watched it over and over. Together with 'Secret Garden', 'City Hunter' etc. Cute Kim Ah Joong She look THE BEST in 'That Fool'. Beautiful, sexy etc. Haven't watch 'Sign' though. Just finished "You've Fallen for Me" aka "Heartstrings". True, it's not as exciting as "You're Beautiful", but I still love the drama. Both Jung Yung Hwa and Park Shin Hye make such a beautiful couple, and the music were spectacular! One regret was, I was hoping there'll be some romantic scenes between PSH and Lee Hyun Jin (Ki Young) as he's pretty hot!

Damn I forced myself watching 2 ep (7 & 8) of Can't lose without Eng Sub..another very slow Eng Subbed kdramas..probably continue ep 9 & 10 without the sub too..hv to read the spoilers from dramabean to really understand haha..
Although very low rating dunno why i keep wanting to watch..hmnnn..lotsa FF too |

I'm streaming watching It's okie, daddy's girl. I can't find any HD, and I might think of purchasing dvd if available. At first i love Han Hyo Joo after Dong Yi, after watching Brilliant Legacy, i think Moon Chae Won is really the one make me touchy. Love Moon Chae Won so much.
