Lol because you cannot leave Nikon!!!!
Anyway, the A350 is indeed better than the D40. But what about the future? Are you going to stick with Sony? Or jump back to a different brand when you are ready to go semi pro? I just think you might need to think slightly more ahead. And wouldn't a D80 body work? edited: didnt see ur latest post This post has been edited by zio: Apr 4 2008, 12:22 PM |

Well, even with the kit lens, the D80 will do better. More AF points, better built etc
And you can get a proper grip in the future, not some IR thingy.. My option to you is.. stick with Nikon, maybe by the time you save up enough, ada D90 and you can afford that. |

Thou hath seen the (dark) light!
QUOTE(gogo2 @ Apr 4 2008, 11:16 AM) I think the price differences. D300 is RM6k. D300 is around 5.5K now. Dropped a bit.D200 ISO noise sucks. Please stay far far away. Yes, A350 is newbie slr. Only different is that it got the best LifeView in the market and 14MP is to cheat people D200 ISO noise sucks compared to new generation CMOS DSLR la, but if compared to D40/D80 it's still better. A350 is indeed entry level, priced the same as Canon 450D. About 3K right ? Biasa la more MP is better. Since your budget is tight and you already have work to do, jumping ship is definitely not a good decision. For 2.5K you can get a new D80 body now (maybe you want to wait for D90 but that might cost 3K+) and continue to use your current gears. |
