There's one more new lens from Nikkor that you all can consider maybe, the new AF-S 60mm f/2.8. Can be used as macro and as potrait also. Most importantly it can auto-focus with D40! thumbup.gif

Well, it just everyone own's preferences. I prefer 60mm, still able to use it for full body potrait and wont be too far away from the model! icon_rolleyes.gif

Yeah. A350 is still in fact an entry level DSLR. But since you're attracted to the funky looking tilting LCD, Quick AF Live View and 14MP, can't be helped. Honestly a used D200 would be a much better choice. icon_idea.gif

Haha i dont think he was harsh la. D80 is also entry-level, jst that it is on a higher tier.

Advanced entry-level as opposed to beginner entry-level (D40/x and D60). There are only three categories: entry-level, semi-pro, pro.

So if you say you want to jump one tier to semi-pro, heheh then its the D300.
