i'm looking to get into the d40 world.. but still dont know anything bout it.. sold my psp for it.. how much the new one cost?

i dont mean to be comparing brands but i really need some serious opinions..

which one better, just with the kit lens? D40 or A200? notworthy.gif

i thought the D40 and A200's price was about equally the same..?
