QUOTE(MR.Shiney @ Jan 6 2008, 01:18 AM) i want to buy that one too. i miss my s3is 12x zoom.. if you can get the 18-200 get that one lar, no brainer how much did you get the offer? 18-200 should be more convenient, u dun have to change the lens often.. can switch to wide and tele in a blink.. but the price..almost 2k. the 55-200 is cheaper, the lowest i found is RM800. QUOTE(KTCY @ Jan 14 2008, 10:52 PM) get the VR version, u need VR more in tele lens,u can survive without VR in ur 18-55mm kit lens, but when the focal length gets bigger, the minor handshakes are amplified.. nikkor 55-200mm is the best affordable zoom lens u can get for nikon d40, tamron 55-200mm is cheaper, but it cant autofocus with d40, sigma 55-200mm can autofocus with d40, but it is just about the same price with nikkor, that's the best affordable combination i could find unless u willing to pay Rm2.6k for nikkor 18-200mm VR.. save the hassle for changing lenses.. to me 4GB per card is more than enuff,
2GB is sufficient, i'd prefer to have more cards, rather than all cramped into one. This post has been edited by mindkiller6610: Jan 22 2008, 08:13 PM |
