wow.. everyone's upgrading..

manual focus wont spoil the lens or body.
AF-S is the nikon's series of lenses that have a focusing motor, SWM. |

55-200mm VR is budget tele lens.
for its price, it is great, good VR performance. but it is abit soft at 200mm. Sigma 70-300mm HSM out edy? how much ? but that one without OS.. dun worry, it is just a stepping stone, after that, u might wanna jump to AF-S 70-300mm VR, or 70-200mm f2.8 Haha This post has been edited by mindkiller6610: Apr 15 2008, 10:18 PM |

for the laptop to display the pictures right after it has been taken,
i think the nikon software has this feature. btw, a shot on 55-200mm VR @ 200mm.. didn't sharpen when PP, so u can see it is abit soft, i guess some sharpening would make it better..  This post has been edited by mindkiller6610: Apr 15 2008, 10:55 PM |

55-200 VR has quite frequent AF-hunting.. esp at tele end and not really well lit area..

on APS-C dslr, the focal length always needed to be multiplied with 1.5 (actually it is 1.53), although it is a DX lens..
