Salahan manufacturer. If WOW sensor detects aircraft still in the air, there should be a logic to prevent the lift dumper from being deployed. Such a basic safety net also dont have, better stop making an aircraft.

That was what my pilot trainer friend said also after watching the crash videos. He said most likely the pilot clicked something he shouldn't.

QUOTE(ZeroSOFInfinity @ Aug 16 2024, 03:56 PM) That "what's going on?" part indicates 2 possibilities.... well im no pilot or aviation folks, just reading the report for funsies. 1) The pilot noob switch open lift dump. 2) Electrical malfunction cause lift dump activate. My money is on the later. the report conclusion & appendix do say primary cause is pilot error. report also say Pilot is not sitting on the pilot seat (instead he seat on the co-pilot's seat, while the co-pilot sitting on the pilot's seat), both are not sufficiently experienced for this aircraft model. SIC is second-in-command, referring to the co-pilot, and the co-pilot seems to be the one controlling the plane. primary cause: SIC switched on lift dump during landing approach, lost altitude additional findings; insufficient crew training reading further on the report amendments section can see the company did tried to deflect/argue that it's not company's fault |

Such a basic safety net also dont have, better stop making an aircraft. I was about to say it’s a 1993 aircraft what to expect. But then my co a/c was manufactured in 1993 and has fail safe system which can’t deploy unless WoW. |
