Just 1 won't quite solve the issue. 1 dad + 1 mum -> 1 kid, the number is reduced half

Being Japanese is depressing, they r loners and you have to follow the group.
cannot dare to be different.

from graduating to retirement have to be stuck with same co, cannot change job.

high cost of living, and japanese women high standard, cause men dun want to marry.

some more their jobs force them to work very late, come back home late, cannot spend time with family.

no surprise many parts are likely to vanish with schools closing due to lack of enrolment caused by low marriage n birth rates.

Very different from Chinese and Korean culture meh?

QUOTE
According to Statistics Finland’s data on population changes, over the past ten years, the birth rate has been falling steadily both in rural and urban areas. The birth rate is clearly higher in rural areas, but its significance to the birth rate of the whole country has diminished as a result of urbanisation. Altogether 78 per cent of all persons born in 2019 were born in urban areas.

What's the point arguing about small differences when the overall trend is all rich countries have low birth rate?

Asian women say Asian culture too traditional bla bla bla, but AMDK also low birth rate.

Some people say single motherhood is the solution. Yeah, it's a great solution to turn 5000 yo civilization into 300,000 yo civilization.

Sure that doesn't help, but places like Australia, Canada, New Zealand, Portugal, Sweden, Hong Kong, Singapore, Italy don't have inheritance taxes. Not exactly places that are popping out kids either. I don't think it is inheritance tax that are stopping people from having kids.

when they cannot find a permanent place to stay, why would someone be thinking about having babies?
would you start a family in a rented room/rented house?

japanese guy = atm

Stating one's income is common on Japanese dating apps, but Tokyo will require a tax certificate slip to prove the annual salary.

What does this have to do with inheritance tax?

Places like Singapore have one of the highest rates of home ownership

Japan despite their inheritance tax also very high rates of home ownership

I don't think inheritance taxes in Japan (and other countries with inheritance taxes) are the reason why people are not having kids

Employment for life died after the Lehman Shock of 2008, not that it was a common occurrence post 1989. (Especially in the late 1990's when companies were trying find ways of letting go the employment for life people)
