if you tradein to apple online, they will send you a trade in-kit (a box) after you backup or transfer all your thing to you new phone you need to pack the phone and send it back (apple will provide a drop off point in your email). if you tradein to apple store trx they will estimate the price on the spot and they will keep your phone after your done your backup&transfer.

Also true..but it's nice to know it'll last me a day of heavy usage - especially when traveling and doing tourist-y things like taking lots of photos and videos.

I'm still using IPM13 bought since launch and battery health is still 84%. Easily last a day or more. A truly workhorse . Plus I like the baby blue color. Only dislike the weight (once it fell on my head while streaming a left a bump )
