QUOTE(aziratul @ Jul 12 2024, 09:19 AM) Eh.. i thought when u loan from bank, ur contract still show ur car value still based on after deposit deduction? i think macam buying house, developer give rebateIts not 100% loan on ur bank loan contract Tak fhm why u guys need to buy the car before August.. kek for example, house value actually 500k, then developer put in SNP 700k, then tell you rebate 200k, so you just take loan 500k means can take 100% loan already |

Won't change anything, just markup to sell recond/2nd hands and don't take the downpayment.

QUOTE(JimbeamofNRT @ Jul 12 2024, 10:24 AM) and EVERYTHING between it Malaysians pay over RM 10 billion in car taxes every year. How did we end up like this?sales tax, consumption tax from plebs buying car road tax, petrol tax, tax from car insurance, tax from spare parts, tax from service when pleb send to SC, etc car industry contributed a relatively large amount of tax (assuming > RM10billion) , but gov spend a even larger amount (2024 budget RM394 billion). Gov have no enough money every year to spend.. you are rite not going to happen.. in fact who knows 10+ years loan may happen??? surely from those working in finance department of gov someone will think of tax on petrol one day if not already thought off and rejected before.. since so much car on the road haha yhtan and JimbeamofNRT liked this post

QUOTE(Icehart @ Jul 12 2024, 09:13 AM) No. Used car and recond still possible? If that is true, then used car and recond car business will grow faster than before.Traditionally bank loan is 90% of car price. But full loan these days are done via markup on their invoice. With the implementation of e-invoicing, this cannot be done anymore. Hence full loan will not be possible for new cars. Used cars and recon still possible. |

The Hire Purchase Act clearly states that a minimum 10% downpayment is required for all hire purchase.
But Malaysians are so used to taking full loans for everything not only cars, I dont know how we are going to go around that. |
