Jawi script ≠ Arabic script.
Arabic have its own pronounciation. Jawi pronounciation is closer to Roman script.
If you ask an arab to read Jawi like we speak Bahasa Melayu, he/she won't be able to.

You can see in the picture; al-Quran (in arabic script) have that repeated "artistic round-ish" with arabic number inside each, in between each verse. each contain the number of that verse preceding it. we don't use such numbering art with any other publications. if you see such, high probability it's page from al-Quran.

Actually that is the correct way to handle it.

Being a citizen of a country which the official religion is Islam, I expect that this kind of thing is consider standard knowledge already.
