if combine with the 8 years contract that chelsea was giving out then maybe more meaningful but unfortunately no one wanna lock with us for 8 years... lol
*
That loophole already patched long time ago. I think a lot of people would lock with us, who dont want free money? Its actually ultra risky, we just havent seen the bad side of it yet with Chelsea. Now max amortization for FFP is 5 years.

bear in mind the opponents today also not like the opponents of the previous golden generation... the old peak holland wouldnt have so easily kena hoot by england.. lol... so in southgate case, its really super duper lucky... lol
*
True, like i said the current england generation also nothing compares to the golden generation. So, sama la.
I tend to believe in cup or tourney game, you have to have alot of luck. And southgate has that. Dun underestimate luck because the 2 champions league we won under fergie, the god of luck was shining on us.

Not really. If you look at current squad's talents relative to other country squads at the moment, England should be ranked quite up there. Compared to back then, it was a lot tougher to be even considered the top 5. It's all about relativity.

And while previous England generation has loads of stand out individual talents, I feel they lack the balance that the current squad should be having.

that england was spoilt by sven fielding all 3 midfield big names without any specifc ideas.

talent wise, this england team is behind france only.

its true that in tourney u need alot of luck but against stronger team yes, against weak ass teams like slovakia and the likes... susah...

and this england squad essentially is more balance than the previous golden generation... if take out injuries, every position this current england squad have loads of good and world class players... while the lampard gerrard era not so much... the bench are thinner and lack a good CDM, good RW, good rightback during those days.. the only weakness of current england squad i think is the keeper only... its been a while since we have so many top and high scorers in one england squad... even the strikers that sitting bench are top scorer with their own respective team...

not a fan of southgate but we have to remember, england golden generation gerrard, lampard, scholes, rio, beckham, terry, ashley cole also can't even reach the final.
current generation is nothing compares to this, yet they reach 2 finals.
*
Last time itu golden generation put Lampard and Gerrard, no chemistry langsung.

🚨🇳🇱 #mufc will pay £35.7m for Joshua Zirkzee and stagger their payments to Bologna over a three-year period. Had they triggered the £34m clause they would have had to pay it in full. David_Ornstein

Pay a lil more entitled for instalment, macam we buy smart phone 😂😂😂

pay in instalment does ease out cash flow burden

Southgate should be lucky because Mainoo was there, England unable to carry the ball forward with Rice and Gallagher/TAA. With Mainoo u can see he hold the ball, do one touch pass, off the ball running and create space for teammates. That's why Scholes posted in IG to ask Southgate to put Mainoo in for this reason.

Dortmund considers Sancho's price tag of 40M too expensive. He doesn't have a choice.

Johnny Evans signed a new one year contract.

He can continue play with u-21 or u-18 and collect the mega salary. It’s great from a virus perspective. But let him into the any team and he will infect others if he is not dealt with. A win win is of course he he repents and do a turn around but this remains to be seen.
