Todibo deal currently blocked. FIFA rules which clubs sharing the same owner and playing in the same competition (Europa) cannot do direct business. simmarjit liked this post

Southgate footballing genius ok.
England has a lot of midfield options. But Southgate has the genius plan of using an offensive fullback in Trent AA into the midfield instead. |

QUOTE(beck_ken @ Jun 23 2024, 09:27 AM) I read the number was around 250k.QUOTE(sinoffire @ Jun 23 2024, 09:43 AM) "After accepting he has underperformed". Well, about time he admits the obvious. This was the most likely outcome from the player. Much more comfortable to stay at the club on 350k and protected as an English player. |

United are close to finalising ETH new contract. Rumoured to be a 2 year extension on his current contract.
And once ETH signs the new contract, we all know how things work in Manchester United. He will be sacked by the end of the season. |

After Todibo's deal got tangled in UEFA regulations and Everton standing firm on a big fee for Branthwaite, Manchester United has made contact with the camp of Matthias de Ligt. Only player camp, not club side yet.

QUOTE(MamulaMoon @ Jul 8 2024, 02:43 AM) Game over... we missed out another good player Another player who heavily linked with a move to United, sadly he joined another club instead. He was asking for Sancho level wages from us, just no. I think the club made the right decision to pull out after. |

QUOTE(tzxsean @ Jul 8 2024, 01:48 PM) To be honest i prefer we go for a DM first instead of young striker Because apart from Hojlund, we have no recognised strikers after Martial left. It's necessary. Same with CB. Not sure how much a young striker can help Hojlund for development Hope the transfer budget is not depleted significantly DM we have a few names, plus Case is still here. I suppose we are waiting to sell before buying the DM position. |

Outgoings :
Greenwood to Marseille in talks. Sancho, Juve interested. Not sure if requires Chiesa to be sold first. VDB to Girona, advanced talks. Incomings : Zirkzee, waiting for the Here We Go. Talks around deal structure with Bologna. De Ligt, advanced talks with Bayern. This post has been edited by statikinetic: Jul 8 2024, 11:24 PM |

QUOTE(yhtan @ Jul 9 2024, 06:54 PM) What do u think about De Ligt signing? I think it has the potential to be a great signing.Brantwhite is far fetch based on the Everton pricing, unless we are willing to swap Maguire for him and add on 40mil. Weird thing Maguire sale news is not circulating around. Defenders peak later than other outfield positions so 24 is still relatively young. For someone of his caliber around 50M, that's more than fair. Of course we can point towards some negatives like injuries, but this is also reflected in the 50M price tag. He would be way more expensive if not for this (See his Juve and Bayern transfers around 80M). There is the question of how he will adapt to the PL. But at least he has played for ETH before so there should be familiarity in terms of playing style. QUOTE(MamulaMoon @ Jul 9 2024, 07:29 PM) As a forward, he played 43 games. Scored 8 goals. 5 assists.Rashford is not playing for England because he was not selected based on his performance this season. He does not deserve to wear the England shirt right now. yhtan liked this post

QUOTE(Dark_Knight90 @ Jul 9 2024, 09:59 PM) Yoro wants Real Madrid. Not Manchester United. But United have made the bigger bid so Lille hopes Yoro will accept United's terms. Madrid haven't bid anywhere near United's as they know Yoro wants them. I would not hold out hope right now. |

Makes you think. Looking at the England squad, do you think England reached the final because of Southgate or in spite of Southgate?
