QUOTE(TheReem @ May 6 2024, 01:58 PM) Im tired of employers asking for my 3 months payslip. I know its a norm now. Not required to give if they are sincere to hire you. If not, perhaps it is good to bypass this offer. My personal thought.Sometimes I'm tired to reason and just give. Do I have the rights to refuse? If its the employment that they wanna verify, they can call the company or check for epf deduction. I don't understand why they bother to ask our payslips. Isnt that confidential between me and the company I worked for? Can someone clarify on how I can deal with this please? |

Isnt that confidential between me and the company I worked for? Can someone clarify on how I can deal with this please? 1. Salary is ALWAYS P&C IN EVERY COMPANY 2. Are your company pratice OPEN SALARY INFO?? If Salary in your Company also P&C 3. Why you, yourself dont respect the rules you set? 4. I ask for this salary, is not based on my previous paid. I base on what i value myself currently 5. If you think is reasonable, accept it. If you think is not, tell me directly. MR_alien liked this post

QUOTE(30624770 @ May 6 2024, 02:15 PM) You really so naive to think that your salary is not based on your current salary? that depends. It’s only true if you’re taking up some important positions and you’re being headhunted. for what i am doing, i have been doing things way above my paygrade for my technician title and salary. yes, my mistake because i was too comfortable and no motivation to seek our other opportunities when i was a bit younger. and i can show no proof of it so it means i tokok sing song(no cert/portfolio) most of my friend who got out into the same industry were offered the real salary and allowances and it was at least double the amount we were paid. (we are in a specific service sector with very very few competitors) |

QUOTE(knwong @ May 6 2024, 02:31 PM) Seriously just ask, I want to know what is the HR reply. Are they being honest in only matching salary based on what you previously earn? Or it's for something else. HR wanna lowball candidates and offer candidates based on previous salary and not what kind of skill they bring to the tablethese sort of company practice, better to leave because it's a sooner or later thing anyway |

I middle finger when an employer want to hire me based on my last drawn salary
My practice; tell them in first place to give me a number where they willing to offer If I like it, I will accept it, and only when already join the new company I will give the HR my previous company pay slip. |

You can put an expectation.. If they cannot afford, they will provide a base salary. Once accepted, then only go to the detailing will be the best. Win Win for everyone.
