Corporate are smart in getting things in the way they want. Dont like someone, they just know how to make you quit.
Dont wanna give raise, they wait till you make a mistake and use that as an excuse.

Well, if that's the way it is. Guess gotta play it their way then.

Unfortunately asking payslip is the norm here.
But, I always insist yes, I will provide payslip after you give me an offer. And they are ok with that.
Even when I join a mnc bank (not our local bank) they also ask for payslip to verify. But they gave me more than my asking salary. So there’s this rare case where the employers treat you right. But still ask for payslip

What u can do is during interview stage just state your expected salary and if they ask for payslip, say if you can meet my expected salary in black and white, I can provide you my payslip for your verification. But I always provide my current salary verbally when asked. They will nego based on your current salary sadly but it is what it is unless you are very in demand.

man making a norm for something like this. no wonder always kena lowball and then become cheap labour.

also, when opening. they got budget d, but these pipul like to twist and jimated company money as if its theirs. should outright reject 1st stage if out of budget and should state salary range instead alongside the vacancy

The HR Ministry must ban this practice.

debate until cows come home already. personally i would never give. employer should pay based on market rate. they need to do their own homework. I would tell them my expected remuneration instead. Then it's up to them whether they can match my ask.

salary is negotiable..if both agreed on the amount then no issue on the showing the payslip..

payslip tells a lot about the person they want to hire part from f2f session..the more details the payslip, the more employers can have the glimpse about your working attitude..

exactly

I mean, if they really want to verify your salary, can always show the EPF contribution slip, innit?

from there just calculate lah

another red flag

when co already asking for copy of ic front and back WAY BEFORE interview

this is a real major red flag

I mean you can always give them your ic number but not the copy

together with your latest payslip, shit man, I hate to elaborate this tbh  dry.gif  dry.gif  dry.gif

true true

b4 or after interview never give IC, unless co want to give job offer.

I also hate this kepo co b4 interview ask for IC. I will just ignore them, if they say its in the way of interview, I rather not attend.

wasting my time.

Try to give a black and white copy of your IC if they insists after securing your job.

Also why do they actually need a full copy of your IC? Don't you think copying down your IC's number when you show them is more than enough?
Not that you can run away if anything happens, and they report to authorities the police which already have all our records centralized?

Concerns is on both sides, they scared you commit wrong doing run away, applicants also scared what if all these information gets sold?

What a jerk... I bet you're the type that like to lick HR and boss's ass.. tongue.gif
I have a manager in a different department who does gives a lot of work on purpose to make you fail and fire you or till you resign yourself.
The employee did nothing wrong, he/she just don't wanna do OT.

If money drops from sky why would I be looking for a job.. so brainless you... company hired idiots like you meh??

You've never been in that situation, I think that's why you're okay with that.
Or either you must be the boss or HR here.. ah..go kiss ass la sohai..

Slap?? just bising mcm anjirrrrr on comment...

I told them I will provide payslip after you give me an offer.
but they die die want my payslip, say it is to get what Business Partner approval.
after I gave them, they only give me 10% increment...
I ask for additional 5%, now they put me on bench (waiting list)...
