AFAIK, Time dotcom telco can only service highrise condos/apartments or offices/shops (not landed properties) and it's backhaul connections to the Internet also relies on TM HSBB Fibre network = Time dotcom's number of Fibre ports are allocated by TM Wholesale. Eg, .......

I find it unacceptable that TM build ports in a condo but the number of ports are not sufficient to service the entire condo and those who are unlucky to not get a port aren't given access to stable fibre internet. I am put on a waiting list and told to wait at least 6 months to 1 year or more for TM to come and install more ports before I can finally apply for fibre internet and I'm not the only one as there are at least 10 more units in my condo also on this waiting list.

We're all working from home and will probably continue to do so for a while more and at this point, access to stable internet is a necessity for Malaysians to continue to do their jobs. My mobile internet is unstable in the condo, so not having stable fast internet affects how I can actually do my job. TM has monopolized the infrastructure of internet in the entire country and claim to be the no.1 ISP in the country but they can't even do this right.

As all the other ISPs also have to use TM ports, I don't even have the option to choose a different provider and I'm just expected to accept that this is my situation and to blindly wait for 6 months or more and no guarantee that they will even come to install more ports? They have ready customers but are turning a blind eye on them.

I doubt they'll actually do anything about this as I've read many others in other areas experience the same thing and waiting for 2 years with no updates, despite lodging a complaint to MCMC. I personally have also lodged a complaint to MCMC but I really don't think it'll change anything. This is just extremely frustrating and to think Malaysia is talking so much about digitalization and industry revolutions/digital transformation when they can't even provide what is by now a basic human right.

similar issue , since Jan or Feb 2024.. long time b4 taiwan earth quake or shark bite the submarine cable . never block any youtube ads.
Cannot even view youtube in 4k.. btw can view in 1080p. rubbish net... free upgrade my xss...

btw, too busy to launch the complaint process, maybe this is why they don't bother to fix this . (may do this later , if the problem still persist).
