Just checking how widespread this problem is.

I checked with friends and other forums, they all confirmed that Unifi very slow to load major sites, from 9AM till 4AM.

This started since last 2 months for some people, started 3 weeks ago for me.

Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, even Youtube.

Anything with videos will be extra slow or wont even finish loading.

Odd thing is, its always 9AM till 4AM, give or take, every day.

you mean 9pm to 4am? 9am to 4am sounds crazy

but all the while unifi nighttime will have different routing and that routing is bad

same, experiencing more disruption then usual. b4 maybe once a year, now its 2 times in a month. confirmed with no. 100.
and just upgraded my home to wifi 6, tot my new setup was configured wrongly or bugged. ping & speed test all okay. but sometimes enter some site, weird slow loading. tot was my addons or cache/cookies. but netflix & common streaming services, working as normal.

noting happens. maybe you would need 1gbps for websites that previously can run on 30mbps

Its 9AM to 4AM for me, most people said night time till 4AM.

Maybe different based on region.

No need lah, I watch netflix youtube also 1080 only, I no money buy big screen watch 4K.

Mee too..before this downstair & upstair wireless connection is good. Now upstair keep disconnected when play online game and also took long time to upload videos. End up just using mobile data when upstair at home. And connection downstair also sometimes disrupted. Happen since two months ago.

for me starts happen around feb, many streaming sites videos cant load, even youtube 4k used to be fast but now fast forward straight downgrade me back to 1440p

Speedtest no problem, but when loading streaming content, very slow or no load.

This is the weird part.

depend la, could be bad routing(full of packet loss etc) or just the server load is too damn high.
nothing suprising.

but the big site all looks fine to me, youtube, twitch, twitter,tiktok.

Since the slowdown started a few months ago and often occurred from 9pm to 4am, it's likely because of TM HSBB Fiber network congestion during peak traffic hours, which in turn may be root-caused by the introduction of 5G.

Note that TM Wholesale also sells TM HSBB Fiber network access to the 5 celcos and DNB, ie 4G/5G ride on TM HSBB Fiber network for backhaul access to the Internet, ... besides it's own TM Unifi Fiber retail business.
....... DNB has about 6Gbps of 5G bandwidth capacity for it's 3.5GHz frequency band and sells 1Gbps to each celco. Each celco has about 2Gbps of 4G bandwidth capacity for it's sub-3000MHz frequency bands.

If each TM HSBB Fiber has a bandwidth capacity of 10Gbps (= 10G-PON technology), DNB's 6Gbps of 5G bandwidth capacity may be the main culprit because 36% of mobile subscribers are now on 5G, ie 5G is getting more popular.

lel, never tried other isp and see what they are missing?
used p1 wimax - haram jadah
used 3g service - haram jadah
used abnxcess - haram jadah
use 4g service - sometime okay, alot of time KO
use 5g service - always kena tendang from 5g network

other friend experience, use citybroadband and freshtel, also haram jadah.

okay la, i stuck with TM, at least this is not the old TM during dial up and early streamyx era.
i only will try other ISP if my current ISP is bad enough, as long as they give satisfactory service, im a happy camper.
