I went to meet Mr. Lai to try the Parallel card but unfortunately the software dongle cannot be detected thru the parallel card. I think I will need to upgrade to USB dongle or buy a older generation laptop with parallel port.

Sadly to hear that the parallel card is not working with your USB dongle for UPS accounting software, however the parallel card been tested with some P4/centrino notebook and work fine & compatible with UPS accounting software, guess either is incompatible with your notebook motherboard chipset or different version of UPS.
