My Notebook is a Dell Inspiron 640m. It has an Express Card Slot instead of PCMCIA.
I have a 3G PCMCIA data card, But cannot be installed in the Notebook's Express Card Slot.
Any adaptors that will allow me to insert in my PCMCIA 3G card to the Express Slot?
Or do you have anything that allows me to use my Celcom 3G card in my Express Slot of the Dell?

PM me as well please. Also, please state the compatibility of the adapter. My research on the internet indicates that not all PC Card devices will be supported by such a converter.

Sunix PCMCIA are supported for most accounting software in the market as compare to those low quality china made Pcmcia parallel card. Wht make Sunix Parallel card so unique as 25 pin of parallel connecter port of Sunix PCMCIA Parallel cardbus all are internally wired which allowing each pin transmit the signal equally without any data lost.

Sunix PCMCIA Parallel cardbus are using the lastest Sunix Chipset, unlike most of others PCMCIA cardbus are OEM, and yet i'm proud to say Sunix is the only brand in Malaysia which covered full range of I/O card and not to mention the first I/O card who take the lead support Vista platform.

http://www.sunix.com.tw/it/en/Product_Sub....3&class_b_id=73

You may need to proceed to following retailer shop to find out more about the compatibility with your dongle;
1) New again Pc Sdn Bhd
Lot2.43 2nd Floor, Low Yat Plaza
Tel: 03- 2146 2929

2) C Com System Sdn bhd
Lot2.35 2nd Floor, Low Yat Plaza
Tel: 03- 2715 9833

Should you have furher inquiry, pls feel free to PM me..
Thanks..

Hi Daza,

Thanks for your inquiry, pls take note, Esata = External Sata, which the particular sata port is main for External sata harddrive use. Normal sata port are meant for internal sata harddrive usage.

PCI-E esata
---------------------
1) Data transfer rate: up to 3.0Gbps
Sata Port interface: SATA version II.
Slot: PCI-E slot

PCI eSata
---------------------
1) Data transfer rate: up tp 150mbps
Sata Port interface: SATA
Slot: PCI Slot

So long your external harddrive are supported SATAII, then you may go for PCI-E and provided your motherboard have PCI-E slot ready.
Thanks... !

Hi Eos1dsmkii,

Thanks for your info..
Just to keep you inform, Delkin expresscardbus is not ready for Vista yet.. why go for Expresscard cardready while you still can get USB card reader in the market easily with cheaper solution.

Just my opinion, thanks..
