At first, I thought that Paris, Je T'aime is similar to Love, Actually or Cinta. 5 or 10 different stories that has relations/connections between them. blush.gif
But then I realized that all stories in Paris, Je T'aime has one significant connection, it all happened in Paris, the City of Love.

Just watched Alvin and the chipmunks!

I know, its an old movie. Last year, something not new. Like it, interesting but I don't go crazy bout it.

Cute, the chipmunks and the girl. biggrin.gif

The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford.

a mouthful of a title to type out, but the movie was excellent. Beautiful cinematography, a beautiful, hypnotic score by nick cave, and some damn fine acting by everyone. Be warned though, the movie is very slow and lasts two and a half hours. The pace is poetically slow, but its the only way way to pan out the plot so that we get to delve into the lives of the characters while setting the eerie, haunting atmosphere.

Brad Pitt and sam rockwell along with the entire cast give thoroughly brilliant performances, but its casey affleck who steals the show as Robert Ford. He looks to be a stellar actor playing weird, insecure characters like this. (I thought he was awful in Gone Baby Gone, he just cant cut an authoritative figure, and his slurred speech........)

the soundtrack is great to fall asleep to. just utterly hypnotic.

9/10

Watched this during Chinese New Year. A very slow movie indeed but just can't stop watching it till the end.

dude, how to pronounce the movie title if i decide to watch to movie, but the staff at cinema boxoffice do not know what i am talking about.

so does Paris, Je T'aime read as "pehri, ye'me"? or i just say:" tolong bagi dua tiket untuk itu citer jiwang kat Paris?
