But we don’t have the scrap car law, and BN tried before, but kena push back.
So adopt new EV is the best. Encourage car user to change their old car.

the reason for the road tax is to build, improve and maintain the infrastructure..( unless i am mistaken).. so the heavier the vehicle, the chances of damage is higher… take lorries as an example… but because of public services, their taxes won’t be too high… if for private vehicles, am sure it’s high..
coming back to EV, i think the cc vs weight should be taken into account while computing…

actually /k really thinking ev road tax gonna be higher than ICE? government is pushing for ev, of course it will be cheaper

EV adoption is to "workaround" to current high petrol price .. but Malaysia is a bit awkward as our main electricity source still using gas ,coal and fossil fuel instead of nuclear reactor

whoever bought EV ; continue charge with electricity la
whoever remain on ICE ; can get cheaper petrol and doesnt burden on gov due to subsidy

BUT our ringgit still kind of correlating with crude oil price ..so you need to foresee ringgit will go holland if crude oil crash

Kalau tak da duit, beli Axia je. Road tax kan RM90. Fuel sebulan RM200 je.
Kalau tak da duit, jangan la denggi T20, be humble, learn from them, grow with them then become a T20 yourself.

The tax structure it's been there for decades, just only EV cars are new tech hence need restructure of the tax.
NETR are one of the EV perks, join EV lar if you able to when the price is lowered after 2025.
You can prepare and brace the future when your times is come.
