Just went UTC today. Printed the renewal paper for me only. For physical card need to go to JPJ. I hope I don’t have to pay another RM20 as applied for physical card online.

I did it at JOJ Kiosk, but the queue is long because many runners there printing many copies.

I renewed my license online and I tried to get physical card from UTC JPJ but they do not issue it. They have recommend me to go to JPJ directly and request from there. I havent been there to get it thou.

Yesterday 20 June 2024 (Thursday), I phone called JPJ. They said if you want physical version, you can only get it at JPJ counter but you will get slip renew. The physical version (physical card with photo) is no more.

What a bummer! They shouldn't taken off the physical version (physical card with photo).

It is very important to have the options of physical version (physical card with photo) and digital version and then let us choose lah physical version (physical card with photo) or digital version. Should be like that and not taken off the physical version (physical card with photo).

When comes to physical version, who cares about the physical version (slip renew) and it's not useful for us all. All we want is the physical version (physical card with photo) because it's very useful and very important to us all.

Meaning even jpj also doesn’t give physical card?

Which insurance company? Ur card refer as License and not road tax right?

So, we cannot drive to Thailand if without the license in physical card form since JPJ mentioned renewal slip is not valid for driving in oversea.

Carry both old expired physical card (the one with photo) & renewal slip
