depends on what games u want to play, if older games then worth it, cos nowadays many latest games no longer release on ps4 platform already, means only can play on ps5 and above

so its really depends on your use case, and there are many old games that have very good graphics also, and get ps4 pro instead of the normal ps4

Dh lama la bang. Ever since PS5 came out people had been jailbreaking their PS4s left and right.

You can also DIY at your home. Just watch tutorial at Youtube, lots of videos to choose from.

Sadly PS4 is considered ancient at this point so if you can endure slow ass loading times, then go ahead. Even if you mod use SSD pun x byk improvement since it is bottlenecked by other factors such as memory, cpu and OS.

those are launch date not lifespan...
as for PS4 after nearly 10 years but still going strong, i'd say give or take 2025 or 26 before it discontinued.

but then by now you'd rather get the ps5 than the ps4.

Regardless previous poster still wrong. All the consoles has survived around another 2 years after each new gen launch. PS4 is exception, maybe a bit longer due to Covid disruption.

useless already , now ps6 on the way which is in few year time, japan company are known to suck every money dry gao gao just like how atlus keep sucking money on persona series.

ps5 pro is to just make sure they get all the money for their bonus year end / new year bonus.
