Rent seeking is all you know.
Never heard of prosper thy neighbour, prosper thyself?
The land would just lie fallow if Sg didn’t acquire it. And they’re not just buying land for land sake. Malaysia got all this land but don’t want to work, only selling it cheap for a quick buck and then cry about foreigners buying up our land. Lmao
Willing buyer willing seller.
Your kind of janji kita pegang attitude, give 10 thousands years also will lose to Rohingya slum in Langkawi.

Agreed.

So many Malaysians macam small-hearted and small dick mahathir mohamad.

We think the whole world revolve around Malaysia but that is the furthest thing from the truth.

We are just jealous that we kicked out Singapore and it survived.

Only when Malaysia know our place in the world, then we can maju rclxm9.gif

Malaysia also built new woodlands ciq complex few years back. Very big. Sg will build bigger, jb also need to renovate an upgrade. Have you been there recently?

However…both projects involved only the building on their side of the country. Did not touch the causeway. Rts link require negotiation with both sides.
*
If Malaysia is smart then the causeway should be replaced with a crooked bridge that Singapore refused to demolish 15 years ago. It is also something Singapore will never be agreed u til the malacca loses its title as world busiest shipping route title.

I think you still don't see the points behind why ships are bypassing Johor port to dock at the Singapore port

Thats why I always say Malaysia must build 100 lane fully-manned customs at both links to suck dry Singapore domestic consumption worth hundreds of billions every year.

It is a super low hanging fruit for Malaysia to prop up our RM.

But the question is does Malaysia has the balls to do this?

Why not stack the checkpoint into 3 story like elevated parking? Can save land usage somemore.

You’d be lucky to find 10 of those counters manned. Such is our discipline and efficiency.

There are water pipes going across it. N to join the crooked bridge u need cooperation from sg side. The johor ports r not located in the middle of the johor strait anyway. Sg was willing to demolish the causeway n build a bridge in return for something but Malaysia under thanos want to unilaterally force a crooked bridge onto an existing structure which is impossible without cooperation from the other side. It is just childish political gamesmanship n no way to feasibly complete it and that’s why no one other than thanos has ever brought up the crooked bridge idea again.

Having just crossed the checkpoint last week, both sides counters are fully automated for biometric passports like sg and my passport now. Most sg n my ppl use the automated lanes. Other country foreigners are the one that need to use the manned lane.

Singapore is clever not wanting to demolish the causeway and replace it with a bridge in the interest of Singapore port

Now, the johor straits is getting narrower with no big ships can sail along the straits

If Singapore has the money to develop the waters then they should be charged for higher treated water tariff
*
All ships that uses Singapore port pass by Penang, Klang, Johor, Kuantan ports too.

Malaysia has 4 tries and Singapore only has 1.

Yet they still choose Singapore.

Its like all the pretty girls still choose Singapore because of its big dick whereas Malaysia no skill no dick.

We better spend time to think about how to improve our port efficiency and grow our dick and improve our skills rclxm9.gif

dont forget the Tg Pagar land deal 1990, and subsequent 2016 land sale to SG government, and subsequent 2021 CANCELLATION OF HSR which required us to pay 320mil RM.

that one WAY more problem.
