Stupid, the one thing Singaporeans lacking and we provide them with the solution.

Malaysia way of overtaking Singapore is by our land and resources, no matter if it takes 100 or 1000 years its potentially possible. The way I see it, Singaporean will be more vested in Johor Property if road traffic become better then increasing JB overall property price.

Why Win Win? Land is now owned by which country?

Is like, I owned a land, give you operate Durian Farm and get commission. Both party also benefit win-win, but at the end of the day, I will still be rightful land owner and anything I say goes.

To me, Singapore have more to gain from this acquisition.

land is WORTHLESS if you don't put VALUE on it.

the same as TONGKAT, it's WORTHLESS if it were not USED AS INTENDED.

that's exactly what happening all over the place in marehsia, prince of land for example.

in this case, it would probably far more worth it for SG to develop the land rather than leaving it doing nothing.

U must not have ever been to jb or sg b4. They fully support cross border traffic especially singki coming to spend money in jb n workers bringing back sgd. new checkpoint will increase this, so it is good for jb sg relations.

Singapore is clever not wanting to demolish the causeway and replace it with a bridge in the interest of Singapore port

Now, the johor straits is getting narrower with no big ships can sail along the straits

If Singapore has the money to develop the waters then they should be charged for higher treated water tariff

No single country can unilaterally demolish or modify causeway. Need both country agreement.

When you say no country, are you referring Malaysia shouldn't be protecting our national interest?

Then why Singapore can plan for developing the woodland on their waters but not demolish the causeway with a crooked bridge on Johor waters??

No wonder Pulau Batu Puteh is belonged to Singapore

Malaysia also built new woodlands ciq complex few years back. Very big. Sg will build bigger, jb also need to renovate an upgrade. Have you been there recently?

However…both projects involved only the building on their side of the country. Did not touch the causeway. Rts link require negotiation with both sides.

Rent seeking is all you know.
Never heard of prosper thy neighbour, prosper thyself?
The land would just lie fallow if Sg didn’t acquire it. And they’re not just buying land for land sake. Malaysia got all this land but don’t want to work, only selling it cheap for a quick buck and then cry about foreigners buying up our land. Lmao
Willing buyer willing seller.
Your kind of janji kita pegang attitude, give 10 thousands years also will lose to Rohingya slum in Langkawi.
