make sure you toggle dex on / off on the notification bar and also make sure your phone is connected to charger, usually need dongle. dex (for me) wired doesnt work without charger + dock/hub that supports it

It still can be used but limited to display device only instead of last time to to PC or Laptop. Force to use Link To Window.

im using usbC to HDMI or usbC dongle to HDMI port. both without charger and it works.
last time with S9+, need charger. else it only mirror the device, no dex.

Yes. DeX to Window. I think it is too bad that ONe UI8 is not longer supported.

Finally tried dex using my phone.
As user complaint, when dex, screen need to be turn on for controller to work. Last time phone can be sleep and controller work well.
Wont updatr my tablet to ui8. This dex is cacat

yes dont update it - hope future release of oneui can fix those issues

Yeah. Let my phone becone experiment of new version while my tablet stay at usable version.

Battery drains faster these days?

Samsung's fons with Samsung's updates always drain battery very fast than rain water.

How do you find the ui? Any of those said pop ups ads seen from china phone? Been with samsung since note 2.. clean ui is imp for me haha

Color OS is very clean, no pop up ads whatsoever, you will get used to it very fast
