What does this mean? If I subscribe to this Hotlink 30, is actually 17gb?

Last time I got "baited" by Maxis team into upgrading from the old RM98 to RM109 plan (since it's only RM1 more expensive compared to RM98+RM10). Now I don't think I can revert to old plan.

And the 5G isn't stable, what a waste of money.

Call 123 to check if got contract or not? If no contract better downgrade to postpaid 79, more quota compare to old 98 plan.
Malaysia 5g is still long way to go, just look at how 4g coverage after 10 years, you will know

Yeah unfortunately I can't downgrade to RM79 plan because I have a supplementary line.

I'm current paying RM109 + RM48 (for shared line).

If your subline use more data? If not why not try move your primary line for 79 and subline for hotlink 40

Strictly speaking, is Maxis and Hotlink coverage the exact same? I see Hotlink postpaid also have free calls/SMS, does it work the same way as free calls/SMS as Maxis postpaid?

What's the catch, how come Hotlink postpaid is cheaper?

Both Maxis Hotlink had same coverage also 5G works flawlessly.
Also Hotlink Maxis also doesn't charge for calls sms as Maxis
Only drawback was Only with Maxis you can buy high end smartphone with Zerolution contract where as Hotlink only offer lower end phones

Sounds good, that's a lot of difference. The only drawback is pay separately instead of 1 bill.

Never mind that, as long as can save more. In this day when everything is expensive, just got to switch to cheaper plan if not really need those quota

If both Maxis and Hotlink does indeed have the same coverage, it's a much better plan.

Coverage is the same. In places where Maxis is good, so is hotlink.

Instead of offering the 5g via addon, why cant their defaultly turned on the 5g to everyone…

for old plan 5G access consider as value Added service
New 5G plan 5G enable out of box
