They no longer offer this now, the equivalent 5G plan is Maxis Postpaid 109. Appreciate if anyone can shed any clarity on this.

QUOTE(jimmy.soo @ Jan 9 2024, 10:25 PM) its cheaper at 79 but without the option for a share line Which is why I said, the equivalent plan is now RM109. Regardless, I just checked my phone, my Maxis postpaid 98 plan is still locked to 4G. This post has been edited by contestchris: Jan 9 2024, 10:28 PM

QUOTE(YoungMan @ Jan 10 2024, 11:37 AM) Don't think that's going to change. It is disguised and rebranded as the "new" 5G plan, and old plan discontinued. Old plan discontinued for new buyers, but those on the existing plans get to retain it. But there's no 5G!!!

QUOTE(YoungMan @ Jan 10 2024, 07:46 PM) Click on 'get 5g' on the main screen. It should open a page for you to upgrade to hotlink postpaid 70 or activate 5g pass for free. How about Maxis Postpaid 98?

QUOTE(NagaK @ Jan 13 2024, 12:26 PM) If your subline use more data? If not why not try move your primary line for 79 and subline for hotlink 40 Strictly speaking, is Maxis and Hotlink coverage the exact same? I see Hotlink postpaid also have free calls/SMS, does it work the same way as free calls/SMS as Maxis postpaid? What's the catch, how come Hotlink postpaid is cheaper?

QUOTE(mikey8811 @ Jan 27 2024, 03:22 PM) I am paying RM 40 for 1 Gb and some call and SMS minutes so Hotlink Postpaid 30 sounds like better value. Is the network coverage the same and can I roam when I am overseas? Also, if I make the switch, can I keep my number? Dude, Hotlink Postpaid = Maxis Postpaid. 100% the same. Well worth the switch. Plus, you get free 5GB every month (need to redeem for free in the Hotlink app), and another additional free 5GB after 6 months (auto added to your monthly quota).
