Maxis postpaid, 98 package, subscribed the 5G access pass and check this month billing, the 5G access pass is free. Just for info, I have previously subscribe before the access pass during the 1 month free trial. So, this time, Maxis is given free for sure.

That is because you have a higher package.

I have a postpaid 40 legacy package and they tell me that the 5G access pass is not available and I will have to subscribe for a higher tier postpaid package.

See, it's not really free for some folks. One has to subscribe to higher tier to obtain "free" 5G. That's not really free. Those on legacy (low value) package is not likely going to get "free" 5G access.

That's why we have been asking Celdi users to keep opening MCMC aduan, even if it seemed doesn't work, it will bring MCMC attention to this blatant act by Celdi.

Gov only ensure principal line can have free 5G at same price or lower. You are expected to downgrade one plan to get cheaper price for primary with 5g. Gov celebrated this.

Those benefits and perks like cheaper sublines are not within scopes.

Talk & Surf Principal 1. It's really ancient. I have been a Maxis customer since they started. They transferred me some years ago. It has 1 Gb of data and some minutes of free calls and SMS.

What's the difference between Hotlink and Maxis packages?

For comparison, Hotlink Postpaid is for mid range users, Maxis Postpaid for high end and Hotlink Prepaid for low end users. Just have to find one that suit the price range i.e. how much willing to spend for mobile services.

At that price you been paying i think can get 4GB (with 5G) and unlimited calls and sms with the lowest RM30 Hotlink Postpaid.

But Maxis been quiet since you been paying RM30 for 1GB and some call minutes.
