ahaha.. alicia still available eh?

but one thing about HS, their stock finish faster than HLJ.. smile.gif
*
restock and as usual just 1 only smile.gif

QUOTE(QuackSilver @ Mar 18 2008, 03:00 PM)
hmm..not sure its because of the number of units HS is getting, they're still taking in orders for Needa whereas HLJ has already stopped taking in orders
*
stock wise depends one woh, sometimes HS faster and someties HLJ faster, from what I know HLJ stock doesn't update immediately, so sometimes your order might go through but maybe no stock already.
HLJ have two type of preorder though, early bird where you get 5% discount, this usually open for short period thn no more, they will open the normal preorder at a later date.
HS stock is update as soon as you put in your order, that's how I know when they restock it's usually just 1 only smile.gif

Say, I'm about to place some orders on Hobby Search, but I had something I need to know before submitting it.

What kind of shipping do you usually use, SAL or EMS, and how long did it took for the stuffs to arrive on your doorsteps? Also, what might they delivery person do, in  the case that there's nobody at home, when they came to deliver the items? The moment I read about how SAL is untraceable, I shudder to think about it's going to get lost somewhere in Malaysia's non-courier postage system.
*
EMS is like pos laju, no one home they leave a card and you go to the Pos laju office to collect.
Yes SAL is untraceable and the item might arrive fast or it might take a long time to arrive, hence I nvr use SAL. Most probably won't get lost just that you dunno when it'll arrive lo
For peace of mind always use EMS, arrive fast and you can track it rclxms.gif , if I want to get a figure cheap i use PA, but usually when I only have 1 figure to get for that month, more than one I use HS since can combine shipping

ahh Ringo, risky item to import in haha, time to pay XL a visit and see if they are getting her.
As for Haruka, it's just a prototype, the final one might have another rod to hold a left foot, like Alter Nadie, the prototype only have 1 rod but the final one have two smile.gif
What I don't really like is her expression like a bit cacat

I order something from HK, they send me using there speed post... got tracking number...
i wait 2 weeks never arrive, then the seller email me said the parcel back to him...
the reason chopped on the parcel is "Dikembalikan / Tidak Dituntut / Unclaimed"...
i even not received any red card from post office...
and the best thing is i did bought something before using same method and reach my hand safely...
but this time weird... return back to seller...
i am worried that's our local post office problem... sad.gif
*
that;s y my parcel all send to office so that the reception can receive it if I not around.
Local post office lauya one sometimes didn't give the card, but for my Hobby Search EMS no problem so far, usually arrive 3-4 days and i keep track of it so that I know whether pass custom or not

I ordered the kasumi from DoA by shunya I think bout RM100+, took free shipping. Apparently after that I ordered 2 revoltechs also but last 2 weeks already arrive my revoltechs. Thats why now I feel weird how come my revoltech arrive but my other hasn't.

And I received two invoices already and said its shipped btw.
*
email PA and let them know so that they can check. Usually items from PA takes about 1 week from shipping date to arrive.

Just a heads up, kidnemo is selling this for almost half the original pricing:
http://www.kidnemo.com/index.php?main_page...roducts_id=1642
(original retail pricing is 4500yen, around USD$45)

and this for a good discount too
http://www.kidnemo.com/index.php?main_page...roducts_id=1243
(original retail: 4800yen, USD$48)

I ordered both, which totaled to USD$91.28 (shipping costed $32.5 alone. kidnemo is a US-based company). It costed much less than hlj.com or 1999.co.jp (since they're both selling at the retail price), since it's as if I'm paying nothing for the shipping, if I were to order from those two sites.

Koto figures have US releases so you can actually get them cheaper buying from the US, problem is not all figures will be release in the US though and usually they are release later than the Japan.

nice haul btw, really cheap

Hey guys... need your opinion..

Which do you think is better, Max Factory's Mikuru or Alter's version...
Both of them come in similar outfits and the pricing is almost the same..

MaxFactory's version has more vibrant colours to Mikuru's dress and she can go into nekomimi mode which is cute happy.gif

Alter's version on the other hand looks abit dull but the face looks better.

Having dilemma now... orz
*
Max Factory Mikuru of course smile.gif

Hmm, I just noticed something...
http://www.1999.co.jp/eng/10069913 and http://www.1999.co.jp/eng/10069813 ...are both same character doing same pose? Which one do you guys think is better. Alter's one differs in price for about 1000 yen, despite the same scale
*
pose and expression I prefer the Koto version, colorwise Alter version is better,

I thought the torn clothes version is also done by Alter...

The Alter one looks more detailed.... where else the Kotobukiya one looks a little shiny and there s that metal pole sticking there  doh.gif
*
I won't be surprise if the Alter final version have a metal pole as well, like their Nadie biggrin.gif.

Damage version is Koto not Alter. Detail wise both are almost the same, just that Alter color looks more vibrant but I find the expression a bit bland, Koto version also abit chubbier it seems lol. If you look closely, Koto version on the chest part, it's fishnet, detailed man, while Alter one is just plain black.

That's y in the end I couldn't decide which to get, so most probably won't be getting either tongue.gif

Say, anyone here displays their figures on their desk, instead of behind glass cabinets? What do you use to clean your figures once it gathered dust?

I always wanted to have one or two figures on my desk. I thought that I could just pass under tap water to remove the gathered dust, but was told by others to not do it, as it would diminish the paint. How true is that?
*
some of mine are on my table as well, I just use one of those small make up brush to clean the figure. But make sure you clean frequently though, coz after sometime the dust will stick and might leave marks on your figures, especially on white color.

how to get poison into pvc ya pls spread poison for me pls...is that have to watch their anime rclxub.gif
*
that's probably one of the cheapest price you can get. Out of stock figures that are still in demand usually go up in price after sometime and since figures are not reissue often, it's practically impossible to get them at normal price. btw the original price of Max Factory is around RM280 if you import it yourself (based on Hobby Search pricing)
