QUOTE(Wolf516 @ Jun 20 2008, 03:51 PM) hmm actually i kinda forgot how the dress is, have to go home see my mei feng only know lol. but I think the top part is quite hard to pull off, you need to apply some force to get it off. |

QUOTE(richard0304 @ Jun 20 2008, 05:04 PM) oh finally up at XLQUOTE(raptor_cZn @ Jun 20 2008, 05:13 PM) What the...?! that's really expensive. I think will more than HS even though they ship by EMS cause their sales price is already marked down and you can use their points system. I think the price will be more than that if get from HS, shipping probably around 3k yen or more, this is based on Rize shipping since her box also quite big, but she'll just a 1/8 and Hayate is 1/7. So I think RM365 is a decent price, probably only PA can go lower than that |

QUOTE(raptor_cZn @ Jun 20 2008, 06:00 PM) 3k yen It doesn't matter what they throw in, it's the box size itself and Hayate box definitely won't be smallBtw, is it better to overexpose than to underexpose figures while shooting them or is the converse better? Added on June 20, 2008, 6:01 pmThe Shuraki girls box are abit more heavy I think cuz they throw in extra stuff like the CD and the booklet. it's better to underexpose since if you overexpose u risk burning out some detail, underexpose a bit you still can bring back those detail with photoshop. QUOTE(richard0304 @ Jun 20 2008, 06:03 PM) haha looks like my estimate wasn't that far off |

For mei feng, you have to force the upper dress out, it's quite tight, I don't have much problem casting off the rests, just mei feng only, damn hard

QUOTE(raptor_cZn @ Jun 22 2008, 12:49 AM) o.O The background looks shopped. =p use custom white balance, AWB won't be able to get the right white balance all the time. I am using 6500k bulb as wellWant to ask a question. If you use 6500K bulbs, will you have to set the white balance on your camera cuz it will be a bit bluish depending on how the camera detects it using AWB. Cant' seem to find any 4000k-5000K bulbs for the compact fluorescent screw type bulbs. QUOTE(markiemark @ Jun 22 2008, 01:07 AM) speakin of shurakis, are there any differences or the original Shurakis and the re-runs? no difference, first release and reruns of shuraki figures comes with the same stuffAnyone checked out Kanu Unchou Daiki Kougyo Ver. yet? QUOTE(infested_ysy @ Jun 25 2008, 06:21 PM) Camera broke, sent for repairs orz. Not to mention I've managed to force out the peg, and superglue it back to the hole. same thing happen to mine, it's all because of her skirt, it's just too heavy, and the plastic for Rize base is different than the rest though, kinda softer[attachmentid=509386] But it's this part as seen circled. Her base isn't flat (or made of hard plastic, for that matter), it's possible that that's putting extra stress on that peg and has caused the plastic to fatigue and break off. Anyone here have the other Shuraki figures care to tell if the base of the other figures are made of the same soft plastic as Rize's? |

QUOTE(infested_ysy @ Jun 25 2008, 07:34 PM) Good to know =3= most probably a common problem for Rize, At least I could feel at ease now, knowing that it doesn't happen only to mine. Hopefully Tamiya's plastic cement (don't have a superglue around) will make it stay there forever, after leaving to dry for a whole day or two. QUOTE(Wolf516 @ Jun 25 2008, 07:37 PM) since she is standing with just one leg I scared she might lean after some time... Problem with Rize is her skirt is very heavy, probably safer to display her in battle damage haha |
