Some useful tips I learned:

Need to plan for a week's stay. Some days might have bad conditions due to weather or just not enough activity in the sky. Food and hotel can save if on tight budget. There are cheaper hotels n eating options.

Recommend not to save on good winter jacket and booking a tour with one that can take professional photos with some wow factor. Otherwise will just get pics from mobile phone which isn't great

Yeah, I like Iceland too. Was there in 2018. Thinking of visiting Malta or Croatia next. Had enough of sub zero temperature for a while
