LOL......I just wrote about it is out of norm that MCMC straight away implement blocking without any public consultation as per regulation. Now only start public consultation after blocking....somemore in short time before the event too.....cis.......

Memang sengaja time the event so nobody is able to attend except their "own people".

MCMC should have open up a public consultation with industry players (ISPs) and the public people like us before proceeding to instruct ISPs to hijack the IP addresses and redirected the hijacked IP addreseses to their own DNS servers.

Remember, the fact of the case, MCMC IS NOT BLOCKING DOH/DOT protocol, rather MCMC is INSTRUCTING ISPS TO HIJACK THE ALTERNATIVE DNS IP ADDRESSES AND REDIRECT DNS REQUEST TO MCMC DNS SERVER.

What act of laws and regulatory framework gave MCMC the power to do so?
MCMC has power to request ISPs to block site via DNS server belonging to local ISPs, but what gave them the power to instruct ISPs to hijack and redirect the DNS request to other provider DNS server?

Yup, they can fix the software feature bugs easily. But whenever the WiFi radio gets involved, it took them forever to fix it if they can even fix that.

I like what they’re doing with the firmware too but it seems that they have no idea how to optimize the WiFi radio to be really robust and problem free.

is dot or doh better?

i did dot at router, cauz my users r not savvy enough to go browser enable doh (go figure).

Hi All, I've got email and sms from unifi stated that my new speed upgrade for unifi account are now live and update to my profile on 24th September 2024,
funny thing that the speed still 800Mbps, in the email

New Speed : 800
Old Speed : 800
I Pay Monthly : RM221.25

In Apps = Plan name = Unifi Home 800Mbps - Pro Upgrade

I think their website only have 1Gbps and no 800Mbps ... now I wonder if this is only gimmick saying i have new speed but it's still the same?  

My current unifi under contract till april next year

they will ask what problem you must tell then tm team tech will call mobile number you must talk story
then tm will call 03xxxx repeat must tell again few days tm will do ip change for you

New MSRP price drop in the future?

My Unifi got upgraded to 1Gbps recently and they provided me Fiberhome (HG6145F3) AX3000 Combo.. but I dont want to use this combo router (port forward to my NAS also not working with this router but cctv/alarm are working) and I have ASUS AX88U & AC88U that i can combined to create a mesh.

I tried to use back the old BTU - ALCATEL LUCENT + my Asus router (previously used on 800Mbps plan). It got connected (refer printscreen) but with IP 172.23.x.x & cannot browse the internet.

i also noticed that my password on Fiberhome is different with the password on my Asus router. I tried to use it on my asus but getting error.





Any suggestion or should I just call TM and ask their technician to come?

I tried before but cannot connected (invalid credential) when using the password on fiberhome into my asus router.
I open a report they want to send technician over.
its perfectly OK when I switch back using Fiberhome (IP 175.x.x.x)

Hi All,
i have some upload speed issue here that need for advice.
my unifi package "800Mbps Hebat Deal"
Router given by Unifi Skyworth GN630V
when i connected LAN cable to my PC and perform speed test seem like my upload speed capped at 5Mbps, then i switch to WIFI (without restart any device or router) and seem become back to normal upload speed as picture below. Is that something that i needed to configure on LAN connection setting? tried use internal router speed test looks good upload speed >200Mbps. thanks in advance. 

anyone having issues with their unifi line today?

Is anyone else encountering weird speeds/routing recently? Speedtest shows everything is fine, but websites and youtube streams are lagging for me.

Sorry I'm not sure, I ran the speedtest on my PC, my router is this round black one provided Unifi long ago, my download cap is around 29.7 like that when downloading from different sources like Steam, other game launchers and websites

Can I get fixed IP on my residential unifi?

From my experience 110 block quite slow compared to 60 x.x

This free TM router not bad. Quite stable. 58 days still going strong.
