How and where to get this? I'm planning to get 1 to test mine.

I just casually search on Facebook Marketplace and Carousell. I got this unit from 1G unifi user from Facebook Marketplace for RM70. I find the value for the money there, so I decided to buy a unit.

Today I received new ONR and straight away Reverse Engineer, this B1 hardware quite different layout but still using same SoC

Also, I managed to extract out and repackage as firmware file, change the Theme to Lowyat Blue Theme rclxms.gif

planning to add Proprietary Huawei ME from my PON Stick, so, TIME and Maxis can use this ONR

Inside D-Link ONR B1

Firmware File: DPN-FX3060V-B1_V2.0.3_20240516_NIJIKA.bin
Size: 27.7 MB (29,112,320 bytes)

This for B1 hardware, since my old D-Link no longer with me, can't test it, this has disable HW Check, before flash, please enable SSH just in case

I love the color theme there. Looks so visually appealing compared to the stock green shade. Also, the stock's D-Link logo is like someone who cropped the image with a fake .png image and slap into the firmware.

Yes saw this in the TM Unifi members group. The antenna design also is different compared to the white version. Personally, I prefer white casing with black form factor.

I am currently running the unit on RG mode. Disabled all TR-069 stuff. I am not a big fan router phoning home, especially stock ISP router. Did the same for D-Link DIR3060Z, Fiberhome, and any other unifi routers, previously.

but that also lose ability to firmware update, also even disable in GUI, it still active as OMCI specified----[1].

Only way is remove the IoT without breaking/boot loop ---[2]
*
I don't mind loosing the ability to receive any form of new patch / firmware for any unifi router since I wont be using their default router anyway. Just tingling around for fun and learning purpose.

As for [1], I agree. I am using as RG mode now. Still using my Alcatel Lucent / Nokia (black-slim unit)

As for [2], I can agree with IoT is suffered from bootloop if messed up, its headache and almost all IoT devices are phoning home at unprecedented rate on daily basis.

also, OMCI can override those which is very bad, so, I finding way to remove it safely.

even the IoT is not exist inside firmware package, so, it should be somewhere in the partition, I try extract out and give to PON Hacking on Discord
*
Thats the problem which I personally want to solve for. No point using the hardware provided by the ISP, especially brands like D-Link which has a very bad track record in terms of security.

Got this from TM Unifi Members facebook page. According to the OP, 100 to 800Mbps users will receive this.
Edit: Only for new subscribers

Good luck to those getting this. WiFi on the D-Link DIR-X3060Z is better.

CPU should be the same from Dual-Core 1GHz ARM A9 from ZXIC.

Never preferred to use ISP supplied router. Never will.

QUOTE(Ashren @ May 19 2024, 11:06 PM)
The equipment they supply getting worse... smh. Using Mediatek MT7976DN.

https://en.skyworthdigital.com/products-detail/ProId/79.html
*
Since when the ISPs supply good CPE / router for their customers? TM is the worst (D-Link, TP-Link is okayish, Fiberhome, Zyxel: WTF man). Maxis sticks with TP-Link, Kaon, and Huawei; TIME afaik TP-Link and Huawei, Celcomdigi is skyworth after Archer Ax10, and Huawei for FTTR, Umobile Fibre not sure.

ISPs by default getting paid by their subscribers on monthly basis and at least they should have the courtesy to provide after sales support as in fw and hardware replacement for the equipment's they supply for their customers after 2 years. Remember the legendary DIR-850L issue?

They should have a dedicated page or support page that publishes firmware updates on monthly basis for the models they supply to their customer. For general user with TR-069 enabled, TM can do over remotely. Not sure what the COO or CTO of TM doing. Simple thing like this kennod do. lol.

I prefer D-Link ONR BL over this anyways. But yeah man, must sub > 1G package.

QUOTE(NagaK @ May 19 2024, 11:46 PM)
Only 1Gbps and 2gbps getting better combo box it seems. It's good when all in one box instead seperate
But one negative is either TM is allow to use bridge mode or not is question mark now

You got that right mate.

~gg. That AC68U is good man. If paired with Asus-Merlin fw, can lasts for about 5 years more. One of the oldest ASUS model getting firmware support.

I don't expect them to supply top tier equipment but at least decent and stable ones. Not like this, from bad to worse models. It's a paid service not free.
*
Whether its top tier or mid tier, we are subscribers. We are paying on monthly basis for the service. They have to provide fw support and change the hw for free every 2 or 3 years without contract. nod.gif

Agree. My user experience with Unifi app is troublesome. I prefer the design flow architecture of Celcom app. I used their Celcom Home Wireless 300GB before. They unify everything into one single app. I am not sure about maxis. But I love celcom for that. I hate when I need to use two separate app to pay Unifi Air 5G and fibre. So, I used jompay, but now i shift to autopay.

I mean if you see all the discussions here about the problems with their network, their devices, firmware of the devices and network infra etc etc, those they cant figure out and its supposed to be their core competency ... shouldn't be a surprise they are incompetent and the business support layer  laugh.gif
*
You are right mate. I couldn't agree more. We have beautiful talents in Malaysia, yet they are underutilized. When I saw Unifi has their own community site before taken down. Basically it's a ping-to-pong game. If you encounter problem, you will be asked to meet / complain at point A, B and etc. In the end, you ended up as a stressed person w/ the problem remain unsolved.

My installer took the long and hard way today he came with the white Skyworth AX3000 I told him that's for 100-800mbps, he told me it's a new model they just got it this week I told him I know but I want the black D-Link not this. So he called his boss and they confirm Ultra plan D-Link, Pro plan Skyworth. He said sorry and went back to office to get the stock and he's on the way again. Very nice fella 😂 Let's hope I can bridge that little brat to my Asus.

Edit: I can bridge to my Asus no problem at all and I can use my previous Huawei EG8240H5 also, both authenticate normally so no binding. They gave me the PLOAM pass too just in case for safe keeping. Kudos to the installer I gave them 10/10 feedback when they send me the sms link. Going back and forth to get the D-Link and very fast too 😂
*
You got balls mate. I still prefer the ONU/BTU + router config for any speed tier. If ONR, I will prefer to go for reputable ONR brands like Huawei or Nokia, if any of the local ISP offer these for landed. I will avoid D-Link products at any cost lol.

Anyone tested the Skyworth AX3000 yet? If yes, hows the unit and performance?

There are many disbelieve D-Link in term of security, even own one, still use own ONU in SFP Form Factor:
However, I still keep improving the PON Stick and add many hack to override OLT and bridge what ever possible:
*
I don't blame those who unaware of D-Link security practices. Once I toy around, I will sell my D-Link Black ONR lol. Haha.

QUOTE(Ashren @ May 23 2024, 08:41 PM)
I tell them nicely and like I said they're a bunch of cool installers. He can just say no either take it or leave it but he apologized and offered to switch but I have to wait since he gotta run back to the office so I said no problem take your time I'm free all day 😂

My appt started at 10.30 and it ended at 1.40 when I sign the acceptance form. Took only 15 mins to set it up, the rest is the journey they took back and forth for that damn thing 😂 I gave them kaw-kaw 10 ratings feedback and additional comments. In fact I just whatsapp them to ask for my voip pass and he replied instantly with the screenshot.

The build quality of the Skyworth is good to me. Sturdy and heavy but dunno the performance. They show me the thing briefly before I said no 😂. All I know is the Mediatek wifi chip on that model is bad. Why I choose this black D-Link ONR is because I have a 2.5gbe router so if I plan to get 2gbps later I don't have to change my setup. But I might invest on PON stick idk.
*
I am happy you got a cool installer mate. if all installer like this, ISP can bungkus already. brows.gif

I respect a few TM installer. I always talk with them regarding networks, gain insights about TM future plans. I do get assigned with good and pro installers back when I was a 800Mbps user.

If its true, then its great. Any idea if 5Gbps and 10Gbps speed subscription in future? Is there probabilities on further speed upgrade (free) in future? Not to say win, but who can provide cheapest bidding price.

If that true...
When new pricing in force, then existing ultra user get 5Gbps or 10Gbps

I have been setup someone factory, they have multiple 2Gbps line, this what TM want to tackle first,

One factory use 2G x 4 OLT port to get 8Gbps DL, 4Gbps UP
I sold four PON Stick to them last year 😬
*
I agree. They should tackle the corporate or enterprise-based operation before moving to residential users. So, in the meantime, we have to stick with Skyworth or D-Link ONR right; depending on the type of subscription plan?
