Hi, I am currently looking to subscribe to Unifi Home + Unifi TV. can anyone suggest what's the most cost efficient package for my requirement below?

1. 100Mbps minimum
2. Unifi TV. I just need to watch TV3 actually, others (documentary, news, cartoons) are just bonus
3. Netflix (must be 4k)
4. I do not need the physical Unifi TV box

Is b) the best option or is there any other combination/package that I may have missed?

a) 100Mbps + Sports Pack + Netflix Premium ala carte = 128.90 + 62.90 = RM191.8/month



b) 100Mbps (with Netflix basic) + Upgrade Netflix basic to premium + Aneka Pack = 117 + 33 + 30 = RM180/month

Anyone took Unifi's Home package inclusive of Fibre internet + Netflix + UnifiTV + Unifi Mobile 2 lines? Seems a bit tempting as my contract ended already..

1Gbps for RM 159 sounds too good to be true but I hope it is. Do you need to say any specific words to unlock this package at TM Point like in a game? Lmao

So I gotta go up to the counter and ask for the 1Gbps for RM 159 package? That's it? Do I have to mention SWU package or whatsoever? Is there a possibility where they say no to that?

do update back once you stopped by TM Point to ask;
as far as i know the RM159 for 1Gbps plan is actually 500 Mbps plan with speed upgrade to 1Gbps for 24 months, and after that it will drop back to 500Mbps
Have to mention SWU package and specifically stating "500Mbps with speed upgrade to 1Gbps for 24 months" previously.
Not sure if there's any change as of now

If 3 years surely not worth it , 159x36 = 5.7k .If compare to SWU 4.1k = 1.5k difference and that is before tax.After tax is around 1.7k for TV.

Any news on SWU5.0 ? at lease having some new updates ?

So I went to the TM Point to ask about the SWU.
My current plan is 300Mbps for RM129.

Here are the plans offered.
300Mbps for RM119 + 6 months free + unifi mobile RM40 x 6 months
300Mbps for RM 129 + Sharp TV for 36 months contract

500 Mbps for RM 159 + 6 months free + unifi mobile RM40 x 6 months
(didn't ask about the TV option because I'm not interested in it)

1Gbps for RM259 + (I think it comes with 6 months free as well?)

I even pulled out my phone and showed the guy at the counter the Maxis 1Gbps for RM159 offer. He said it's way too cheap and they might possibly cap our data without us knowing. He even claimed a friend of his found out about his maxis fibre speed being throttled down a year later. There's no way to verify his story so that's that.
I don't know which one to pick.
Is Maxis as reliable as Unifi? 1Gbps for RM159 sounds very tempting. Do they increase the price after the contract ends? (Edit: Nvm. You need to be using Maxis postpaid plans to get this price)

no service since last week. lodge report. TM contractor came. replace/rewiring fibre cable. have to pay RM529 (23mxRM23 per metre). said it was outside TM responsibility. contractor also said TM will rebate RM50 per day for loss of internet. Is this true?

Question:- why must I pay for rewiring? contractor claim fibre cable damage (reput?). i am only using unifi for 1 year (2 years contract). before was Digi Fibre for 2 years. possible they didnt change cable when install Unifi? can I report to MCMC? can I report to TM why need to pay contractor?

Hi sifu, asking for my sister, she is paying rm129 for 100mbps with maxis now. If change to unifi what is the package? Need runner to apply or can just goto Tmpoint? Thanks.

Free 6 months as well? I saw in facebook some agent is asking for 1 time fee to stay with maxis. Just wondering if Maxis has similar SWU package.

Hi guys so with rm100 including tax if I go directly to tm point what’s the best package should I be trying to negotiate for???

I have been paying 300mbps@rm49 + Ultimate Hypetv@rm60 + free calls@rm20 for a total of rm129 b4 6% tax. Recently upgraded to 500mbps.
Every time I visited tmpoint for better offer or cancelling of hypetv or free calls but was not allowed. Anyone successful in getting better offer?

Can get some advice from all the sifu here.
I have a unifi service for my parents, sign up many many years ago (almost 10 yrs i think). Contract long expired and i never sign new contract.
Currently got a free upgrade from 500 mbps to 800 mbps.
Unifi Home 800 Mbps - Pro upgrade. Comes with ultimate pack. Paying rm 210.95 monthly for years.
Is this plan really worth it? Seems like newest plans are cheaper.
I sign up a netflix account myself for my parents to watch as this package doesnt have netflix bundled and cannot add on also. It does have disney hotstar together for free.
Landed Phone service rarely use anymore now. Since all through hp now.
My parents do watch la those other unifi channels on and off sports/chinese/movie channels.

Just thinking should i just cancel this package once for all since it seems rather expensive. Only thing being used is the fibre internet and maybe abit of those streaming channels.

If no more contract then terminate & register SWU 5.0 or downgrade to SWU 5.0 .. nut make sure to confirm the price ain't 1st 24 month & 25th month will be different price

I went to TM Point to inquire about the available SWU packages.

It requires bundling with a mobile plan for six months... 

I wonder if a different TM Point outlet would offer me a different promo???
