I have my hair done byIndian and Chinese, but never Malay. Are Malays generally dislike the occupation?
Around my home, in Sri Petaling, I really cannot think of 1 Malay style hair shop.
I'm sure there are some in rural area, but I never see it myself.

My hairdresser is a nice malay chap, Barbersmith Damansara. Very good and does a good job

u want cheap malay barber, u have to go rural...no choice

got, my area got 3-4 malay barber, from cheap to exp.

some pipul prefer to go cinis saloon since they are more versatile and able to cut beyond generic hairstyle the malay barber can offer, like korean style, japanese, curls etc.
some of them could, but you wouldn't gamble on it.

malay saloon/barbers are very good at what they're doing though if you're into simple or iraninan style hairdo.

Got plenty of Malay barbers around. U just gotta look. But generally speaking they cater to higher-end market. I just avail of rm10 bangla or rm15 Indian when in KL.

In Sabah my usual Malay-Filipino barber does a great job. Been going to him for many years since he was a bachelor and haircuts were rm6.50. His eldest kid is in std 2 now and haircuts cost me rm12. How time flies.

Actually, before wuhan virus, there are lots of quicky 10 mins type of micro stall run by mostly Chinese. Those are not high end at all, very cheap in fact. RM 10 can kaw dim.
