QUOTE(aspire2oo6 @ Feb 23 2025, 07:26 PM) Mostly does it uses your contact to share to their database so if u put a specific number like scammer or something it will also upload to their database that one of the way the all verify who is who name . I usually avoid using such app Which is why I refuse to use any caller identification app. Although we can argue that our phone number is everywhere, but I still do not feel comfortable sharing my whole contact

QUOTE(GamersFamilia @ Mar 27 2025, 08:29 AM) good, YES telco should be the best choice 😁🔥 QUOTE(em_on @ Mar 27 2025, 08:48 AM) Errr my friend who used it told me its coverage is not wide as others and mnp back to the others Yes only pushes its plan for 5G. If your area does not have strong 5G you will suffer with their 4G coverage. In some place, there is no 4G signal and you cannot even receive calls on 5G.

QUOTE(aspire2oo6 @ Apr 7 2025, 07:38 PM) You mean after port in use 1month cannot cancel that rm25 plan? Not that. You can cancel what ever plan after port in. Just that during first time online port in, Celcomdigi force you to subscribe the Rm25 plan. Because MNP take between 24 - 48 hours to complete, sometimes people may have change of mind and want to cancel port in. By already paying Rm25 for first months, most likely will proceed to port over, otherwise you burn that amount.

QUOTE(lionelchia1986 @ May 1 2025, 03:50 PM) Hi, anyone know how to remove this notification every time I restart my phone? My contract has already ended. By right they should unlock the phone when your contract end. If the phone is still sim locked, call up customer service and demand for them to unlock the device.

QUOTE(lionelchia1986 @ May 1 2025, 05:36 PM) The CS seems like no idea how to remove it, after she asked her superior, she asked me to try googling or factory reset... lol Ask them to open a case and seriously look into it. They know how to remove the sim locked as telcos are the one who implement this. Otherwise, you also have the right to lodge report to MCMC as the telco is holding your device after end of contract.

QUOTE(lionelchia1986 @ May 2 2025, 10:59 AM) chat with Digi Live agent. Here are the responses. Conclusion is can't remove. Dear Sir/Madam, Unfortunately, since this device was obtained through the contract, it remains under lock protection, which prevents the notification from being turned off. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience this has caused and for the delayed response. Dear Sir/Madam, Kindly be informed that, as mentioned above, since the device was obtained from us, it is equipped with a lock protection feature. As shown in the attachment, our system utilizes this feature as a reminder for payment as well If you have SIM from other telco, can try to use on the phone. If can use means it is still ok, but if cannot use it clearly is SIM locked by Celcomdigi. Recently someone also have this case with Maxis, but after lodging report, Maxis quietly remove the SIM lock.

QUOTE(blackbox14 @ May 9 2025, 07:38 PM) Just want to ask, has anyone on CD line had issues with receiving OTP from Google for account verification? I keep getting an error that says 'We don't support sending messages to your provider at this time. Try a different provider.' I feel Google OTP sucks to the max. I have Hotlink, Celcom, TuneTalk, all my numbers cannot be use to verify google account.

If your phone stolen, thief can easily take out your physical sim, while they cannot disable your eSIM if you have set a password to unlock.
