Upload every few months enough lah. They calculate based on the mileage vs. time (by month may be, but not sure their formula). No need to do too often unless you want to even get like < RM1 of return.

Say first month from 1st to 30th I don’t use my car I upload it I’ll get full refund

Then remaining 11 months I drove 30k km I just done upload anything

In conclusion despite me driving way exceeding the mileage allocated , but my previous uploads had duration of lesser mileage I’ll get paid as they don’t ask u to pay back

i upload mileage once per month.. get payment after 1-2 working days..
max saving is 30% per month if i read tnc correctly..
u may upload 2-3 times a month with 10 days gap..

What if your subsequent mileage has exceeded way beyond that
They won’t ask you to pay back right whataver they have given you

how they give the rebate? direct bank-in your bank account or just discount when renewing insurance?
myself using promilej for my least use car, dont have the need to upload often

wont la.. count renew after upload kot.. my mum car got 10-20% saving each month..

from my understanding.. total insurance payment will divide to 12 parts for each month..
if 1st month save 20%, etiqa will bank in 20% of 1/12 total insurance payment to you..

False, they bank in within 48 hours.

I am using Etiqa Takaful with DLSM. So the following is from my personal experience:

1) You can submit your mileage every 10 days.
2) The rebate for each claim will be paid out within 48 hours directly to your bank account.

I personally prefer RHB Motor Saver as the discount is upfront based on the pre-selected mileage band. Sadly I had issues renewing with RHB online so I went with Etiqa.

I submit every 10 days.

Etiqa will prompt you with a Submit Now button when the 10 days is passed. Just need 2 photos which you take with their app - the odometer reading and front number plate.

I get about rm5.70 every 10 days for a 2 year Myvi AV (insured value around 50k). Premium is about rm960.

Money in your bank acct after about 2 days

I'm using it right now, I've claimed 3 times and each time I get it within 48 hours. Sometimes even the next day. Like I submit Thursday morning, by Friday the money is in (not sure what time exactly).

Guys, minimum submission is every 10 days, how about maximum? 30 days?
Meaning i just need to submit 12 times per year

No maximum. Just submit whenever you want. It will auto calculate from the previous submission mileage

From the rebate, it looks like it is calculated with the basic car premium.

the more frequent you submit the more you save. it's calculated from every last km you submit if i'm not wrong. so the km calculation will be reset after you submitted.
if you submit only once the saving will be drag down by the time when you drive more.
correct if i'm wrong.

been using it for 2 iterations. for me, just do it since there is no extra cost, don't need think much, do whenever how frequent you want it. i do like maybe few months once. most important is, remember to submit at least once near your policy expiry.

Guys, do we need to choose the % of discount & mileage when choosing this dlsm? Looks like i just submit, then etiqa calculate the mileage per day and return the money % accordingly?

nope...the percentage is for your reference, once you submit they will calculate accordingly. everytime you claim could be different throughout your one year.
could be 0% could be 10% could be 20% or 30% depending on how much you drive.

just treat it as bonus. and don't be calculative and create one more thing for you to worry/concern about.
we don't have this before, so anything is a bonus.

Macam cannot. The first time I missed it during Covid. By right, should be the best time to save. In fact, not I missed, I deliberately didn’t choose coz worried and not sure how it works lol. Then ragrets.

Just need to remember to do one just before your coverage ends.

Can do more often also can, but I don't bother, troublesome.

Why the options of submission is unavailable for my etiqa+? I never do any submission before. Only doing register once is it because my drive less save more is still pending approval?

I keep getting 'invalid bank account' error for my DLSM. I have checked with Etiqa twice and they told me my bank details were correct. Their customer service told me this error occurs because they have not processed my rebate. I dont think this makes sense.

It has been 7 days since my submission and I have not received anything from them. Anyone experience similar situation?

I can't seem.to activate it on the app. Anyone have this issue?

hi all...recently just renewed my car insurance using this Etiqa+ policy...i managed to activate my DLSM and actually submitted twice, once in Nov and again in Dec...after that after 10 days..i see the button to submit again but i delay it...today when i open the app..i cannot find the DLSM submit button anymore...

Also when i check transaction history..totally nothing...anyone got similar issue? else tomorrow i plan to call customer service help check too. Thanks!

Try again during day find. My problem just fixed on its own eventually. No issue to submit now...
