I just got my GXBank physical card yesterday and it mentioned I will need to perform one PIN transaction before can use the contactless feature. Is this a mandatory step or just a suggestive step? Based on real user experience?

Many years ago, when contactless function was just rolled out, this step was needed but now no longer required, we can straight away tap for the first transaction.

This was answered when GXBank first launched already. Rounding up happens of course.

Gosh...saw in earlier pages got discussion about RM4941 vs RM5000...eventually it's like RM590 difference and assume 5% interest, that means we're talking about RM2.45 (5% of RM590) potential loss (assume if someone put RM5k and wasted the RM490 to invest somewhere else)....

and this also can leads to heated argument....really???
