QUOTE(mavric @ Aug 2 2009, 12:15 AM)
hey guys,

i'm using M7000. After upgrading the firmware from 1.3.74 to the latest one...i keep getting the 'not compatible with this signal' message whenever I play any HD content. Everything used to be fine with the previous firmware. I tried loading factory defaults, still the same.

anyone experiencing the same problem and care to share some advice and experience? thanks
*
ur LCD show the error izzit? maybe ur 1080p/24Hz setting... turn it off.. some LCD/Plasma not support... u can play normal SD but not 720p n above.. My Dell LCD not support.. so need to change everytime watching in the bedroom.

ya.
but dvico only can detect 2 drive inside instead of 4 drive installed.
rm1100,expensive stuff
extra hdd tray holders - rm85
rm650
usb2.0+fw400+fw800x2.
raid
*
so better buy 2 bays with 2 xtra tray holder is it? hmm.gif

450+170 = RM 620

how bout connect to PC... can detect all 4 or not?

if use Syno 409j Dvico can detect all HDD?

reach the centennial page... rclxms.gif rclxms.gif

QUOTE(k8118k @ Aug 6 2009, 02:58 PM)
for icydock 4 bays
the usb and esata are port multiplier support
mean 1 usb or esata when you connect to pc,my computer will show 4 independant drive.

Added on August 6, 2009, 3:02 pm
due to dvico can support 4 network drive + 2 external usb drive

synology ds409, there is no ds409j model
if you format under basic drive [4 independant drive]
dvico will detect 4 drive, you need set 4 times network setting

if you format under raid 5 , sacrify 1 drive for redundancy,
eg : 4 x 1tb = 931GB x 3 > 2793GB actual spce.
dvico will detect it as 1 drive.
you still got 3 network drive can be share.
*
so meaning if i connect icy 2 bay using 1 usb.. i can't connect anymore hard drive to via Divico 2nd USB port, Dvico wont detect it is it?

cheaper than firewire version.
accessing to usb external drive must wait awhile due to dvico need read the whole drive before it show the movie list
best combination is icydock+2x 1.5TB+ internal 1.5TB
Actual space : 1397GB x 3 = 4191GB. rclxub.gif  rclxms.gif  brows.gif  rclxm9.gif

Max TB icydock can support for each Bay?
