got my firewire icydock from k8118l in the afternoon

trying out now, mounting one exeternal hdd from the firewire. mounting the iso from the drive as well, transferring it as BDMV folder in the same hdd

46gb, current time shows 2 hours, not very fast, but my previous usd takes abt 4 hours + innm

u dun call it icy dock for nothing, dem cool the casing
but the sound its producing is quite loud as well sad.gif
*
I think something wrong with your mac /setup lor..

46GB should transfer in around 40-50min with USB2.0

if with sata around 30-40% that time.. biggrin.gif

ok thanx... no more green menu... rclxms.gif too bad can't try it rite now... cry.gif  bro is the a method other than playing the BDMV to check if the menu screw up?  hmm.gif

i got one more prob.. it is true that DVico plays the biggest file in the stream folder.. (correct me if i'm wrong).. what if the featured film is not the biggest file in the stream folder n scattered over a numerous m2ts files.. can i play all of it in proper sequence?  rclxub.gif  rclxub.gif
*
I don't understand this part.. if it plays the BDMV folder (assuming it's a proper transfer from BD-iso to BDMV).. then it should launch the real BD menu every time you select that folder right? so why would it go to the largest M2TS (main movie file) and play it? shouldn't you only get to play the movie file only after clicking and selecting from the BD main menu?

yes.. brows.gif

that's why I always wonder why bother buying one of these wd elements, maxtor basics, buffalo even if they are same priced as bare 3.5inch drives.. when you can't transfer at full speed.. only 18-25MB/s instead of the drive's 70-100MB/s rated speed..

not all have the courtesy of having a desktop PC... Those with Laptop n MacBook have their limitation... can't multiply those precious e-sata with PCI-E card.. that's y have to rely on USB. sweat.gif Kerbau can run up to 35MB/s... tongue.gif

what are they doing with BDMVs and laptop/macbooks anyways? tongue.gif
