Must have condition. Why not offer the plan to everyone?

Sorry to say, no. As I mentioned previously, that offer is only available to existing Unifi customers.

However, I believe there are other offers for customers who switch over from other broadband services. You can try to call TM and ask.

But before that, why not you go to negotiate with Maxis? Since you said your contract already ended for over 6 years. That means you are very loyal to Maxis. May be you can tell them you want to jump to Unifi . I am sure Maxis will try to counter offer you in order to keep you stay with them.

Anyways not too keen on broadband deals as a working class bachelor who spends little time at home except for few hours.

It's a waste just to use the home internet for just few hours before sleep daily and browse the web and post in forums.

You can't just walk into a TM branch and subscribe that RM119 500M plan. Always needs to be chosen or privileged that's how things works in this country. Always entitled
*
Actually it's been proven that for existing customer with no contract can upgrade this package by walk in to tm point.

Not sure what are you implying but I don't think I mentioned being entitled here 😅

Oooohhh.. salty!

But then again, there's always a loophole.. also the reason why I went and actually did that (ask for RM119/300Mbps plan with 500Mbps free upgrade for 1yr) 2mths back..
Almost didn't get it (shared it within this thread sometime back), but I got it nonetheless..

Tackle them early while people were just whispering about the SWU3.0 and without the need to sign-on for the mobile plan.

Might as well just take UMobile RM68 or Yes RM58 contractless plan.

2 hours the most daily after work before sleep. laugh.gif

Unifi TV App should be made available on Google TV or Apple TV platform instead of limited to closed system. TM should learn from Astro.

it's the other way round.

UnifiTV app has been on AndroidTV and GoogleTV for a few years already, works v well.

u dun even need their UPB box to use this app on ATV/GTV TVs; picture quality is only touch lower than using the UPB via vlan.

asstro on the other hand has been zealously blocking astrogo on ATV or any box; only allows use on mobile phones.

they have spent a fortune finding ways to block any device that connects to a TV via hdmi.

check ATV playstore, there is no astrogo app.

but they have multiroom app on ATV - u pay for each additional user in same house.

Seems like different agent different answer.

Anyone able to clarify ultimate pack legacy will have HBO?
*
it's true unifi/unfitv hasn't been very forthcoming with their plans, even at this late stage.

perhaps that's they style of working or simply the chaotic way the whole org works. biggrin.gif

lets' wait just a bit. in 48 hrs on Oct 1, we will know:

.. if ultimate legacy will hv the 4xHBO channels.
.. if ultimate plus/max will hv the 4xHBO channels.
.. if HBOGo will come onstream or later.
.. what new tv packs will be introduced.
.. price changes, promo, no promo.

.. if any BB user gets price reduction or speed upgrade or new equipment.
.. if any super duper new package will be launched.
.. if any surprise... e.g. all round price increase! laugh.gif

aiyo... it is available on both Google Play Store and Apple App Store.
Even the UPB itself is an Android TV box box with official Play Store.

Given the with current package state :

300 mbps Rm 89
500 mbps rm 119
800 mbps rm 189

Those package lower than this I doubt tm will cut down the price much lower

Mine already Rm 49 without Unifi tv

So if they want to maintain the Unifi tv

Best they can do 49-20

29+60

Walla!

Rm 89 with 300 mbps + ultimate legacy 😆

Dun forget that all the price plan the retail price are all markup price.

Many of us are actually paying much cheaper price than the retail price due to whatever promo such as SWU 3.0 or previous free speed upgrade. Technically even they reduce the retail price, it is not going to be any better deal to the existing customers.
