Yes, there is authentic guarantee tag. But Shopee agent doesn't take invalid setem cukai QR as proof.
According to the agent, she will investigate seller side and asked me to be patient.
She never asked me to provide any information. And straightaway she closed the case after I waited patiently for 2 days.
How she came to conclusion that I got authentic Omar although both bottles having invalid duty stamp QR is a puzzle to me.

You use Shopee or not? LuenHeng is in the group chat together with Shopee agent. Why you keep saying I don't contact the seller.
First thing I did was to complain to seller.

Why are you so curious? To find way to prove your point LuenHeng is good seller? You obviously sided with the seller keep saying he is good seller.

If he is good seller, we won't have all these stamp duty issues and he already refunded me. Two bottles of Omar having issues, you think that is just mistake?

Don't buy those without valid Setem Cukai QR. That's most important verification method government provide to us nowadays. Don't listen to those who don't like this method.
Unless buying old stock that government has not implemented Setem Cukai QR system yet, which will have certain risk.
Old setem cukai has serial number but no QR, there seems to be no app to input those serial number to check.
If have custom friends, then maybe can check the serial number.

Viral this issue is to protect consumers especially liquor buyers.

You're willing to pay RM600+ for suspiciously fake whisky, I'm not though.

I proposed solution of simple full refund and then seller arrange logistic company to pick up the good from me. This is common and simple process, I've returned goods to other seller before with this method. Seller says he can't trust me. I guess he has issue of trusting people including his customer. And after sending his customer two bottles of whisky with invalid setem cukai, he must be thinking very easy for me to trust him.

Instead, seller proposed two solutions below:
1.Seller will try to reopen the CLOSED dispute on Shopee platform and settle there.
2.Seller will send his people to meet me to settle.

I rejected both proposal above. First I doubt the dispute can be reopened and second I don't trust Shopee agent anymore.
And I don't think meeting his people is necessary and I don't know what could be his intention.

Shopee has quite a lot of choices and simple to use. Choosing seller with good review and scan setem cukai QR can reduce the risk of getting fake.

Do you ever scan the setem cukai QR? Or you totally trust your supplier. But your supplier might get cheated by upper supplier too.
